Virgin Voyages Sailing Club Guide (2026)

The Sailing Club is Virgin Voyages' loyalty program. It's a compact, voyage-count program built around two benefit tiers — Blue Extras and Deep Blue Extras — layered on top of base membership. Virgin has no sister cruise brands, so there's no family matching, but it has periodically run time-limited external status-match windows. Current benefit tiers are confirmed through December 31, 2026, with a new long-term program (including a level above Deep Blue Extras) in development.

How you earn status

You're automatically enrolled after your first completed eligible voyage. Voyage credit posts about 30 days after each cruise.

Tier When it applies
Sailing Club (base) After 1 completed voyage
Blue Extras On your 3rd and 4th voyages
Deep Blue Extras From your 5th voyage onward

Benefits by tier

Sailing Club (base) - Members-only offers and promotions - Quarterly newsletter — essentially recognition only

Blue Extras - 1 specialty coffee per day - 1 complimentary laundry bag per sailing - Exclusive members' cocktail event

Deep Blue Extras - $100 promotional Bar Tab credit - Unlimited Premium Wi-Fi where available - 2 specialty coffees per day - Complimentary pressing and dry cleaning - Access to a dedicated priority embarkation queue — eligible sailors may arrive as early as approximately 1:45 p.m. where available and use Priority Check-In, with cabinmates generally able to join when arriving together

Legacy statuses - Sea Blazers (sailed the inaugural 2021 season) and Sea Rovers (2 sailings in 2022–23) currently retain Deep Blue Extras on eligible voyages through December 31, 2026; Virgin has not yet published the full permanent replacement program - Sea Blazers separately retain a lifetime $125 bonus Bar Tab when purchasing a $300 Bar Tab, subject to current terms

Note: Deep Blue Extras perks are not honored on casino comp bookings — casino perks apply instead.
