EPCOT stopped being a park with festivals and became a festival with a park attached somewhere around 2017, when the Arts festival completed the ring: winter art, spring gardens, a long autumn of food, December carols. In 2026 only twelve midsummer weeks — 2 June to 26 August — go without one.
The economics are consistent across all four: admission covers everything staged (galleries, gardens, three concert shows most nights, Candlelight itself) while the booths sell à la carte at $5–$10 a plate. A grazing evening for two runs restaurant money; a dining-plan snack credit at a booth is the plan's single best trade.
Lineups announce on a rolling schedule — typically one to three months before each festival — so this page names 2026's confirmed acts and teaches the pattern rather than promising any future bill. The ring below is the year at a glance.

The free stage, used well
One theatre carries all four festivals' entertainment — knowing its rhythms is most of the craft.
America Gardens Theatre
- An open-air amphitheatre on the lagoon by The American Adventure: concert series run three same-set shows a night (typically 5:30, 6:45 and 8:00), first-come seating, with Candlelight on its own slightly different clock.
- Standby honesty: joining the queue 15–30 minutes before showtime seats you for all but the biggest names — the dining packages' guaranteed seats matter mainly for legacy acts and Candlelight.
Dining packages
- Festival dining packages bundle a meal at a participating restaurant with one reserved-section seat at a same-day show — roughly $36–$99 an adult at the concert series, more for Candlelight's most popular narrators.
- Book them when the act or narrator is the point of the trip; skip them when the evening is casual — the standby line is free and usually kind.
The pattern, learnable: Arts' Broadway pairs drop in early November, Garden Rocks' full bill in mid-January, Eat to the Beat's slate in mid-June, and Candlelight narrators around September. Disney's festival pages and the Parks Blog carry them first — check there for any year after 2026, because acts change and this page's names are date-stamped.
Festival craft, plainly
The habits that separate a festival day from an expensive queue with snacks.
Go weekday, early afternoon. Booths open around eleven; locals arrive Friday night. The gap between those facts is your festival.
Split plates and lap twice. Two people sharing every item taste twice as much festival for the same money — the veterans' unanimous rule.
Study the menus beforehand. The full booth menus publish in the app before each festival; a fifteen-minute read beats an hour of indecisive wandering.
Use the snack credits. Dining-plan snack credits cover most booth plates — routinely $7–$10 of food per credit.
Weekend-evening Food & Wine. The one version of any festival that disappoints — queues without the calm.
Buying every scavenger map. Charming, about $10–$12 each, and redundant after the first unless small children insist.
Dining packages by default. They're seat insurance, not food upgrades — buy for Candlelight and marquee acts only.
Chasing a festival that fits nothing else. The trip's dates should pick the festival, not the reverse — all four are worth whichever one you land in.

What is the Candlelight Processional?
A forty-minute retelling of the Christmas story by a rotating celebrity narrator with mass choir and live orchestra — running at Walt Disney World since 1971 and at EPCOT's America Gardens Theatre since 1994, three times nightly during the Holidays festival, included with admission. Narrators announce in early autumn; the dining package is the reliable route to a seat for popular names.
Which festival is best for families?
Flower & Garden, comfortably: topiaries, the butterfly house, playground gardens and Easter-season extras give children a festival of their own, and its March–May window overlaps school breaks. Food & Wine skews adult; Arts skews adult and quiet; Holidays delights everyone but rides the year's biggest crowds after mid-December.
How crowded do the festivals get?
The booths transform by clock and day: weekday afternoons are gentle at every festival, while Food & Wine's Friday and Saturday evenings are the property's most local-heavy crush. Festival crowds also spike around the Wine & Dine race weekend in late October. The rule: eat early, midweek, and give weekends to the other parks.
