Celebrity's own current material lists that gastropub on Apex, Ascent, Beyond, Equinox and Silhouette — not here, which leaves her casual-dining lineup slightly thinner than Equinox's. That's the single reason Eclipse's Casual & Quick Dining score (7.6) sits behind sister ship Equinox's (7.9). Every other category between the two ships is identical.

What Eclipse does have: Mast Grill and Spa Café cover the poolside-grill and wellness-leaning-counter roles you'd expect from the standard included casual tier. Pair those with Murano, Tuscan Grille, Sushi on Five and Le Petit Chef at Qsine for the paid tier, and the dining program is genuinely solid — just missing that one extra-cost gastropub her sister carries.

And a small naming note, since we've had to check it twice: Moonlight Sonata is Eclipse's included main dining room. No overlap with any other ship's dining room name in this class — that particular coincidence belongs to Equinox and Silhouette, not Eclipse.

Read the shape, not just the total. Eclipse has one standout category (Suite & Restricted, 9.0), one soft spot (Special Experiences, 7.2), and Casual & Quick Dining (7.6) sitting a genuine 0.3 behind Equinox's 7.9 — the one real gap on this scorecard. Every other number matches her sister ship exactly.

Value at 7.9 is a real strength here, not a consolation prize. It's tied with Equinox for the best Value figure anywhere in this class. An unrefit ship isn't a downgrade on this measure — it means Eclipse's fare isn't underwriting a recent overhaul the way a freshly refit ship's would be.

Fully included in your fare, and open every night of the sailing without a reservation required. It's a single room doing the work Celebrity spreads across four rooms on the Edge Series — and that structural difference, not any shortfall in the food itself, is most of why Included – Full Service (7.6) sits behind Solstice's 7.8 post-refit.

Room service runs the fleet-wide arrangement: about $9.95 per order plus 20% gratuity (approximate, pricing checked August 2026 — confirm current figures before you sail), with continental breakfast free between 6 and 11am. It's complimentary all day for Retreat suite guests and Zenith-tier loyalty members.

Four rooms, genuinely different registers: Murano's classic French tableside service, Tuscan Grille's steakhouse format, Sushi on Five's a la carte Japanese menu, and Le Petit Chef at Qsine's theatrical evening format. This roster is identical to Equinox's, and Specialty Dining scores identically too — 8.0 on both ships.

Special Experiences is Eclipse's softest category at 7.2, matching Equinox despite Equinox's second Chef's Table credit — both land at the same weighted score once measured against the rest of the class. Silhouette and Reflection reach further still, at 7.7, by pairing Le Petit Chef with the more elaborate Lawn Club Grill format neither Eclipse nor Equinox carries.

Two distinct restricted restaurants, and a 9.0 that's identical across all five Solstice-class ships — one notch below the Edge Series' locked 9.1, but still the clear high point of Eclipse's own scorecard. If a suite or AquaClass cabin is within reach, Luminae or Blu is the single best dining decision available on this ship.

Variety (7.7) reflects a genuinely useful, if not sprawling, roster. Eleven venues cover included, casual, specialty and restricted dining without gaps, but Eclipse doesn't carry the extra rooms Silhouette and Reflection get from Lawn Club Grill and The Porch, or the new rooms Solstice picked up in her refit — and, within her own sister pairing, she's missing the one gastropub Equinox has.

Quality Ceiling (8.0) is set by Murano and Tuscan Grille — two proven, well-established specialty rooms rather than anything newly built. It's a real half-point behind Solstice's post-refit 8.6, the honest cost of an unrefit ship, but well ahead of a weak ceiling.

Value (7.9) ties Equinox for the best figure in the class. An unrefit ship's fare isn't funding a recent multi-venue overhaul, and that shows up directly here — you're getting proportionally more of what's aboard for what you pay, Craft Social's absence notwithstanding.

Craft Social is the one venue behind the one real gap between these two ships: not offered on Eclipse, offered on Equinox, and specifically the reason Eclipse's Casual & Quick Dining score (7.6) trails Equinox's (7.9) by 0.3. Every other scored category — Included, Specialty, Variety, Special Experiences, Suite & Restricted, Quality Ceiling and Value — comes out identical on both ships, and the weighted math still lands both at the same 7.8/10 headline. That's an honest tie with a real, specific, single-category difference, not a coin flip and not a copy-paste of her sister's page.

The margin across this class is real but narrow: Solstice at 8.1, Silhouette and Reflection tied at 8.0, Equinox and Eclipse tied at 7.8 — a tenth here, two-tenths there, not a steep staircase. Special Experiences tells the more interesting story: Solstice's post-refit 6.8 is the class's lowest despite her newest venues, because Le Petit Chef is gone and Chef's Table by Daniel Boulud is a different, more traditional product. Silhouette and Reflection's 7.7 is the class high, built on Le Petit Chef plus Lawn Club Grill together.
