Chef's Table Lumiere (6.5) is Majestic's only special experience. It's a genuine, hosted, multi-course tasting menu with kitchen access built into the format, run at $155 per guest plus a 20% service charge — a real premium over Princess's older $105 fleetwide Chef's Table base. But the format alone doesn't push Special Experiences very high: the category reads 6.5 here, the lowest of Majestic's eight scored categories, and it's identically 6.5 on Sky Princess and, in fact, on all six Royal Class ships.
The gap matters most in comparison to Enchanted and Discovery Princess, the other pair in this same class: both of those ships carry an exclusive 360 Experience — a seven-course, roughly 20-seat, multi-sensory dining format combining cuisine, wine, storytelling and visual technology, confirmed directly on princess.com as present on no other Royal Class ship. Princess Plus vs. Princess Premier
A genuine value edge over Princess's newer Sphere Class ships — Majestic pays the standard rate, not a premium on top of it.
Princess Plus runs $65 per person per day if bought before your cruise, $70 per day if bought onboard — Princess's standard fleetwide rate. It includes casual dining credits across the voyage, enough to waive the $14.99 cover at O'Malley's Irish Pub, Alfredo's Pizzeria, or Ocean Terrace Sushi Bar a handful of times, but no specialty dining of any kind; if your plan involves Crown Grill, Sabatini's, The Catch by Rudi, Bistro Sur La Mer, or Chef's Table Lumiere, Plus alone won't cover a single one.
Princess Premier runs $100 per person per day pre-cruise, $105 per day onboard — again Princess's standard fleetwide rate — and it includes unlimited casual dining credits and unlimited specialty dining for the length of the cruise. Premier costs $35 a day more than Plus; two specialty dinners at $66 a cover ($132) or three ($198) don't fully close that gap on their own, but Premier tends to become the better overall value once you're also counting its unlimited casual dining credits and the waived 20% service charge.
Here's the genuine edge worth stating plainly: these are the standard, un-elevated Princess Plus and Princess Premier day rates.
