Burdock is the grown-up pick by the port. Marriott lists an indoor pool, the Burdock Spa, a gym and three venues, about 350 m from the terminal on our map.
It scores 42, level with the Novotel and The Peninsula. On our pins the Novotel sits a few metres nearer, so Burdock is second.
Two catches. There’s no parking, and Marriott says stays for children under 12 aren’t appropriate. For a couple flying in, neither matters.

- You want a pool and a spa by the ship
- You’re flying in, not driving
Look elsewhere if

- You’re driving; there’s no parking
- You want an airport shuttle
