Two terminals, two separate parking questions
There is no parking within San Juan Cruise Port at either district, confirmed directly on the port's own site. Everything below is off-site — and Old San Juan's options won't help you if your cruise actually uses the Pan American Pier, or vice versa.
Downtown garages
- Estacionamiento Covadonga, directly across from Pier 4 — special cruiser rates by phone
- Estacionamiento Doña Fela — a flat $3 overnight special, 6pm–6am
- A short walk to Piers 1, 3, and 4
- No published multi-day cruise rate at either — call ahead for a week-long stay
Off-site, homeport-side
- Estaciona y Vuela (Park & Cruise) — free shuttle to the pier and to SJU airport, rate not published
- Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino — self-park $16/day, valet $22/day
- This is the terminal Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Norwegian, and Disney actually turn cruises from
- Confirm which pier your specific sailing uses before booking either option
Parking near Old San Juan
Mostly relevant if your cruise is homeported elsewhere and simply calls at San Juan for the day, or if your line uses Pier 1, 3, or 4 for embarkation.
- Estacionamiento Covadonga — Paseo Covadonga (PR-38) & Calle Juan Antonio Corretjer, directly across from Pier 4. Regular rate: $1.05 first hour, $0.70 each additional hour. Special cruiser rates available by calling (787) 722-2337 or (787) 721-6911 directly.
- Estacionamiento Doña Fela — Calle Recinto Sur, Old San Juan. Regular rate: $1.25 first hour, $0.50 each additional hour, or a flat $3 overnight special from 6pm to 6am — a genuinely useful option if you're arriving the night before a morning sailing. Phone: (787) 722-3558.
- Estacionamiento Paseo Portuario and Estacionamiento Ballajá — both open 24/7, both a short walk from the piers, no cruiser-specific rate found when we checked.
- Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel & Casino — parking available for cruise guests, across from the Old San Juan piers; specific rate not found when we checked.

Parking near the Pan American Pier
This is the terminal that matters if you're actually embarking on a homeported cruise — Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Norwegian, or Disney.
- Estaciona y Vuela (“Park & Cruise”) — Marginal Los Angeles, Calle Juaquína #19, Carolina. A dedicated 24/7 secured lot with a free shuttle to both the cruise piers and SJU airport — the option built specifically for this trip. Its own daily rate wasn't published anywhere found when we checked; call (787) 727-0000 or (787) 507-0266 to confirm before you go.
- Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino — 200 Convention Blvd., Miramar. Self-parking $16/day, valet $22/day, both posted directly by the hotel. Offers overnight parking with its own park-and-cruise arrangement ("Estaciona y Vuela" branding is also used by the hotel's own transport service, distinct from the independent Carolina lot above — confirm which one you're booking).
- Isla Grande Airport (Fernando Luis Ribas Dominicci Regional Airport) — a small regional airport near the Pan American terminal, with long-term lots around $8.56/day, the cheapest confirmed figure on this page. Requires a taxi to the actual pier, since it isn't walkable.

The Estaciona y Vuela naming overlap between the independent Carolina lot and a Sheraton service is disclosed here rather than resolved; confirm which one you're actually booking.
Who should pick what
| Traveler | Likely best fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Sailing Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Norwegian, or Disney | A Pan American-side option | Your line homeports at Pan American Pier — Old San Juan's garages won't help you. |
| On a day cruise call from a Florida-homeported ship | An Old San Juan garage | Most port-of-call traffic uses the Old San Juan piers, not Pan American. |
| Wants the cheapest confirmed number | Isla Grande Airport's long-term lot ($8.56/day) | The lowest published daily rate on this page — but budget for a taxi to the actual pier. |
| Arriving the night before a morning sailing near Old San Juan | Estacionamiento Doña Fela's overnight special | A flat $3 for 6pm–6am beats paying a full day rate for a few hours. |
| Wants a shuttle included and doesn't mind an unconfirmed rate | Estaciona y Vuela in Carolina | Purpose-built for cruise parking with a free shuttle — call ahead since the price isn't published. |

Parking FAQ
Is there parking at either San Juan cruise terminal?
No — confirmed directly on the port's own site: "There is no parking within San Juan Cruise Port." Every option on this page is off-site, at a garage or lot near one of the two terminal districts, not at the terminal itself.
Where do I park for the Old San Juan terminal?
The closest options are downtown parking garages a short walk from the piers: Estacionamiento Covadonga, directly across from Pier 4, posts special cruiser rates by phone (regular rates are $1.05 for the first hour, $0.70 each additional hour). Estacionamiento Doña Fela is a similar walk away, with an overnight special of a flat $3 from 6pm to 6am if you're arriving the night before.
Where do I park for the Pan American Pier?
Estaciona y Vuela ("Park & Cruise"), a dedicated 24/7 secured lot in nearby Carolina, runs a free shuttle to both the cruise piers and SJU airport — its own daily rate wasn't published anywhere found when we checked, so call ahead to confirm. The Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel & Casino, on the Pan American side, publishes self-parking at $16/day and valet at $22/day.
Is there a cheap option near either terminal?
Old San Juan's downtown garages are the cheapest confirmed option by the hour — Estacionamiento Doña Fela's overnight special ($3 flat, 6pm-6am) is the single lowest number on this page, though that's an overnight rate, not a full week. For a multi-day cruise, call ahead to any garage for their actual weekly or cruise-specific rate rather than multiplying the hourly figure.
Which terminal am I even using?
Check your cruise line's own boarding documents before you plan parking at all — Pan American Pier and Old San Juan are not within walking distance of each other, and parking at the wrong one won't help you. The full guide's Terminals section has the pier-by-line breakdown.
