The port describes itself as "one of the three busiest cruise homeports in the world," expecting 4.4 million cruise guests in 2025, per its own site.
It's a smaller lineup than PortMiami's — 9 cruise lines rather than 26 — but a genuinely wide-reaching one: Bahamas, Western Caribbean, and Eastern Caribbean itineraries all sail from here, which is why this guide is the first in the system to cover three destination ports instead of one or two.

Port Everglades reaches further than either Port Canaveral or PortMiami on their own: Bahamas itineraries run from here on the same short-cruise logic as the rest of Florida, Western Caribbean itineraries run from here the same way they do from Miami, and genuine Eastern Caribbean itineraries — St. Thomas, and beyond — run from here too. That's the first time this system has needed a third destination to describe one embarkation port honestly.

Unlike PortMiami's page, neither Port Everglades' own site nor Brightline's own "Get to Your Cruise" page describes a dedicated shuttle or transfer service between the station and the port — it's shown only as two points on a map. Brightline's Premium-tier tickets include a complimentary Uber credit within a 5-mile radius, which covers the distance, and that appears to be the practical answer rather than a dedicated cruise service.
The Orlando end lands you beside Orlando International Airport (MCO) — the same station PortMiami's guide describes. The Fort Lauderdale-Orlando ride runs about 3 hours, as part of 20 daily round trips scheduled across the whole South Florida-to-Orlando route.
