It's an all-suite Hyatt in Dania Beach, by the airport, and it takes the top spot by a distance. Hyatt publishes every piece: its own shuttle to the port at 10:00, 11:00 and noon for $15 a ride, cruise parking at $18 a day, free breakfast, a free FLL shuttle and a full kitchen in every suite. No other hotel on this list publishes all five.
Two things aren't spelled out. Hyatt says $15 a ride, not $15 a person — and it doesn't say which it means. It also says nothing about a ride back from the ship.
Ask both when you book, not at the desk on sail morning.
Book it if
- Families who want a kitchen and a second bedroom
- Drivers leaving the car for the week at $18 a day
- Fly-in cruisers landing at FLL the day before
Look elsewhere if
- You want the ride back from the ship arranged too.
- You're bringing a cat. The hotel takes dogs only.
