Night-Before Score
The verdict

First, by 24 points, and the only hotel we scored whose own pages put a ride to the ship in writing. The Best Western Plus on O'Donnell Street sells a Park 'n' Cruise Package with the night, a hot breakfast buffet, "Free Parking While You Cruise" and a shuttle to and from the cruise terminal run by KD Elite Transportation.

The hotel puts the terminal 3.9 miles away on one page and "just three miles" on another. There's an indoor heated pool, Tradewinds for dinner and the Baltimore Comedy Factory on site.

The package price isn't printed — a phone call, not a rate. Neither is the number of parking days, and the hotel says "our shuttle is not wheelchair accessible".

Call (410) 633-9500 with your ship and sail date, and get the price and the parking days in writing.

Book it if

  • Drivers who want the car parked and a ride to the ship
  • Budget cruisers who want breakfast
  • Dog owners, up to 80 lb

Look elsewhere if

  • You need a wheelchair-accessible shuttle.
  • You want the package price in writing before you call.
  • You want to walk to the Inner Harbor.

Which terminal

Cruise Maryland Terminal

Baltimore has one cruise terminal: the Cruise Maryland Terminal at 2001 East McComas Street in South Locust Point, off I-95 at Exit 55, run by the Maryland Port Administration. Carnival and Royal Caribbean both sail from it. The terminal opens at 8:00 a.m., or two hours after the ship arrives, and Cruise Maryland asks you to arrive at least 90 minutes to 2 hours before departure, not before the time on your ticket.

Parking at the terminal

$25 a day

Cruise Maryland charges $25 a day per vehicle from April 1, 2026, per its rate notice; its passenger page puts it as “$25.00 Per Night”. RVs are $40 a night under 30 feet and $50 over. You pay by credit card when you arrive, there are no reservations, and the fenced lots are within walking distance of the terminal. Drop your bags at the luggage boxes first, then park. We count it by the day, as the rate notice does; if the lot charges by the night, as the passenger page puts it, it’s one day less.
