The Emperador wins on the evening. It’s about 1.1 km from the terminal in a straight line, and the hotel lists a restaurant, a bar, a spa, a gym and an indoor pool — as listed, not as we’ve seen it.
That’s the fullest evening of the three hotels nearest the terminal, though breakfast isn’t in the rate, per Hotels.com, so it scores nothing there. On paper 1.1 km looks walkable — but the terminal sits inside the working port, so book the taxi for the morning.
Book it if
- You want a swim and dinner under one roof
- You want a short taxi and the fullest evening of the closest three
- You like a hotel you can leave and come back to before bed
Look elsewhere if
- You want breakfast in the rate
- You’re bringing a pet (Hotels.com says no)

Maximus, the hotel’s restaurant, and Oliver’s Bar for cocktails, per the Emperador.
No ride to the ship is listed, and at about 1.1 km by our map the terminal still means a taxi with bags.
Not in the rate, per Hotels.com’s listing: a buffet for about US$20 an adult. The hotel’s own site doesn’t say, and the listing’s hours aren’t ours to vouch for — so confirm both when you book.
The terminal is about 1.1 km away in a straight line, which still means a taxi. Your boarding documents set the check-in time, not the hotel.
Hotels.com lists free valet parking with limited spaces and a height limit — per the listing, not the hotel. Nothing says you can leave the car while you sail, so ask first.

Getting here, and on to the ship
By our map estimate Emperador is about 29.4 km from Ezeiza in a straight line, and about 1.1 km from the terminal. Every question mark below is a ride you book yourself.
No airport shuttle is listed. Hotels.com mentions a car service on request with no price.

From EZE without a hotel shuttle
Holland America puts Ezeiza about 42 km and 50 minutes from the pier, traffic allowing, with taxis, Uber, Didi and Cabify all on hand, and gives about ARS 35,000 for the ride; an April 2026 report saw ARS 50,000 on Taxi Ezeiza’s stand sign. Tienda León’s bus runs to its Carlos Pellegrini terminal for ARS 16,500 a person. The airport page has the fares.
Hotels.com lists free valet parking with limited spaces and a height limit — per the listing, not the hotel. Nothing says you can leave the car while you sail, so ask first.

Which quay
the terminalShips embark at the Quinquela Martín terminal on Av. Ramón Castillo, inside the working Puerto Nuevo port zone. Emperador is about 1.1 km from our pin for the terminal in a straight line, and about 1.9 km from Plaza de Mayo. That’s a taxi, not a walk. We found no official rule on walking out, but port guides advise against walking the approaches, and Holland America lists no luggage storage at the pier, so plan on a taxi with bags. No source publishes the terminal’s exact position; the Buenos Aires cruise guide has the rest.
