Hotel Indigo wins because it’s the only one of the seven with a brand source behind it. IHG lists a pool and jacuzzi, a spa, a gym and a restaurant, Darwin’s Secret, and every one of the 35 rooms faces the sea.
By our pins it’s about 150 m from the main pier, a short walk with a rolling bag.
Breakfast is the catch. Expedia says standard rates leave it out, at about US$10 a person, so book a rate that includes it.
Book it if
- You want a pool, a spa and dinner without leaving the hotel
- You want a walk to the pier, not a ride
- You need an elevator
Look elsewhere if
- You want breakfast in every rate
- You’re traveling with a service animal; Expedia says none are accepted
Your night before, from here
From check-in to the gangway, using only what Indigo publishes and our own map estimates.
Dinner at Darwin’s Secret, the pool until 21:00 by Expedia’s hours, a spa and a gym, per IHG. You don’t need to leave the building.
No ride to the ship is listed, and you won’t need one if your line meets your flight: Ecoventura and Lindblad both take guests from the airport to the pier. Otherwise walk or taxi to the main dock; Ecoventura’s meeting point is in front of Hotel Casablanca.
Not in standard rates, per Expedia: a full breakfast 07:00 to 10:00 for about US$10 a person, and some rates include it. Pick a breakfast rate if you want it settled.
The main pier is about 150 m away in a straight line by our estimated pins, a couple of minutes on the malecón. Check-out is 11:00, per Expedia, so ask the desk to hold bags if your line collects later.
Expedia lists no parking, and on an island you fly to, you won’t miss it.

Every point comes from IHG’s opening release for the hotel (the brand), with the hotel’s Expedia listing for times and fees, which earns no points (ihg.com’s hotel page didn’t load for us); the hub explains how the Night-Before Score works.
Getting here, and on to the ship
By our map estimate Indigo is about 1.2 km from San Cristóbal Airport in a straight line, and about 150 m from the main pier. Every question mark below is a ride you book yourself.
No airport shuttle is listed; Expedia lists a paid transfer from the ferry terminal and puts the airport about 10 minutes by car. A taxi is about US$2 to 4 per car, per Galapatours.
No ride to the ship is listed, and you won’t need one if your line meets your flight: Ecoventura and Lindblad both take guests from the airport to the pier. Otherwise walk or taxi to the main dock; Ecoventura’s meeting point is in front of Hotel Casablanca.
From SCY without a hotel shuttle
Taxis wait outside the terminal and charge about US$2 to 4 per car, per Galapatours, for a ride of under five minutes. Lines that meet your flight take you and your bags to the pier themselves. The airport page has the fares and the fees.
Expedia lists no parking, and on an island you fly to, you won’t miss it.
Parking for your stay: No parking on site, per Expedia.
No ride to the ship is listed, and you won’t need one if your line meets your flight: Ecoventura and Lindblad both take guests from the airport to the pier. Otherwise walk or taxi to the main dock; Ecoventura’s meeting point is in front of Hotel Casablanca.
Flying in the morning you sail? Ecoventura’s Sunday flight lands at about 10:30 to 10:35 and its guides meet it, so a same-day arrival is something the lines plan for — but a delayed mainland flight has no backup that day; the airport page has the landing check.
Which quay
the main pierLines collect guests at the town’s main pier and take them out by Zodiac or panga to the ship at anchor; Ecoventura asks independent arrivals to be at the main dock in front of Hotel Casablanca. Indigo is about 150 m from our pin for that pier in a straight line. The pin is our estimate, so treat the figure as rough; your line’s documents name the meeting point.

Every hotel fact here comes from IHG’s opening release for the hotel (the brand), with the hotel’s Expedia listing for times and fees, which earns no points (ihg.com’s hotel page didn’t load for us), read October 2026, unless we name another source. Distances are straight lines between our own map pins. The pier pin is our estimate, and so are most hotel pins; only Miconia’s and Eco Friendly’s come from a listing’s map.
