The Bars & Happy Hours

Disney's own bars never discount a drink — but Disney Springs runs on outside operators, making it the only corner of the property with real happy hours. Eleven verified windows, one chart, and the bar crawl to hang them on.

Happy hour, charted

The district's whole discount economy fits on one afternoon clock.

Standing in Disney Springs right now? Open the live happy-hour clock → — it reads the current time and tells you which bars are pouring, which start soon, and which have finished for the day.

The pattern is structural: Disney-operated bars — Jock Lindsey's, Dockside Margaritas, every resort lounge — run no happy hours anywhere on the property, while the Springs' third-party restaurateurs discount like the city operators they are. The result is a genuine afternoon economy unique to this corner of the resort.

The shape of the clock: early windows open with the pubs (Raglan Road and Jaleo from around eleven), the heavyweight deals arrive at three (STK, Summer House, the Edison, Frontera, City Works), and Stargazers carries the baton to seven with live music on weekends. A patient drinker can ride discounted windows from lunch to sunset without a single full-price round.

The plate below charts every verified window; the table further down carries the deals themselves. Both are date-stamped July 2026 — happy hours change without notice, and we print only what the venues themselves publish.

Reading the ledger

All twelve venues are third-party operated; bar-area-only rules apply at Jaleo and Summer House, and windows shift seasonally — the Terralina line is printed hedged because its published times conflict. Not on this list on purpose: Wolfgang Puck's old happy hour (absent from the current guides), Wine Bar George's rumoured weekend window (single-sourced), and everything Disney-operated, which discounts nothing.

05

Drinking the district well

The rules, written and unwritten, that make the night run smoothly.

Do this

Go weekday, start at three. The heavyweight windows open together and the bar seats are still empty — the Friday crawl is a contact sport by five.

Carry the drink, keep the plastic. Drinks travel anywhere within the district in plastic or aluminium — the waterfront stroll between rounds is the whole point.

Eat the happy-hour food. Summer House's $5 wagyu burger and STK's $3–9 bites are dinner-quality at snack prices; the crawl can feed you entirely.

Plan the ride home first. Since June 2026 the buses and boats leaving the Springs check for a resort key or booking — off-site drinkers should pre-book the rideshare.

Skip this

Glass anywhere, drinks past the gates. No glass on the promenade, nothing alcoholic onto buses, boats or into the garages — the two rules actually enforced.

The 2018 Edison lore. The covers, dress codes and 21-plus-after-ten rules circulating online are years stale; the current room is a restaurant-bar that closes by half eleven.

Expecting deals at the icons. Jock Lindsey's and Enzo's discount nothing and are worth it anyway — budget them as attractions.

Saturday-night crawling. The district's peak crush turns bar-hopping into queue-hopping; the whole page works better Tuesday.

The one-line verdict

Weekday afternoon, plastic cup, three windows chained, sunset at Stargazers — and the ride home arranged before the first round.

Straight answers

What travellers actually ask about Springs drinking, answered plainly.

Which Disney Springs bars have happy hours?

Eleven verified windows as of July 2026: City Works (Mon–Fri 3–5), STK (Mon–Fri 2:30–6:30 plus weekend and late windows), Summer House's Martini Hour (Mon–Fri 3–6), the Edison (Mon–Fri 3–6), Jaleo's bar (daily 11:30–5), Raglan Road's Hole in the Wall (Sun–Thu 11–5), House of Blues (Mon–Thu to 5), Frontera Cocina (daily 3–6), eet (Mon–Thu 2–5), Paradiso 37 (daily 11–4 plus late) and Stargazers (daily 4–7) — plus a hedged Terralina window. All are third-party venues.

Why don't Disney's own bars run happy hours?

Company policy — Disney-operated bars and lounges never discount drinks, anywhere on property. The Springs' happy-hour economy exists precisely because most of the district is run by outside restaurateurs who price like the city operators they are. It is the only reliable discount drinking at Walt Disney World.

Can you walk around Disney Springs with a drink?

Yes — drinks bought at the district's bars, windows and carts may be carried anywhere within Disney Springs in plastic or aluminium. The limits: no glass on the promenade, and nothing alcoholic onto the buses or boats, into the garages, or out of the district.

What are the best bars at Disney Springs?

By purpose: Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar for theming (the aviator's hangar with the waterfront porch), Wine Bar George for the drinks themselves (200-plus wines under a Master Sommelier), Enzo's Hideaway for the speakeasy tunnel, STK's happy hour for value, and Stargazers for a $5 sunset beer with weekend live music.

What's the single best happy-hour deal?

Two contenders: Summer House's Martini Hour $5 wagyu cheeseburger (weekdays 3–6, bar area) — arguably the property's best food deal, full stop — and STK's $9 happy-hour cocktails, which list at twenty-plus outside the window. Chain them: they're a four-minute walk apart.

Do the themed bars take reservations?

The two icons don't: Jock Lindsey's and Enzo's Hideaway are walk-up only and fill by seven most evenings — go at opening or late. Wine Bar George, the Edison and the restaurant bars take bookings through the usual channels, and bar seats rescue plenty of walk-ins.

How late do Disney Springs bars stay open?

Most rooms wind down between eleven and half-past, an hour or two past park close — this is a dinner district with bars, not a nightlife district. Late windows at STK and Paradiso 37 cover the after-fireworks crowd. Note the June 2026 rule: buses and boats leaving the Springs check for a resort key or reservation, so arrange the ride home before the last round.
