The verdict

NH Centro Histórico sits in the old city. It’s a short walk from Plaza de Mayo, with an outdoor rooftop pool, a gym, a restaurant and a lobby bar, per NH.

It’s about 2.8 km from the terminal by our map, about 20 minutes by taxi — the tourism board’s figure for Plaza de Mayo, not the door. Pets up to 25 kg are welcome, but NH’s own pages disagree on the pet fee, €35 a night in one place and €30 in another, so ask before you book.
