Night-Before Score
The verdict

Memmo is the treat that’s still close. The pool is on the roof, there’s a rooftop wine bar in the evening, and the terminal is about 600 m away in a straight line.

That straight line hides a hill. You’re in the lanes by the Sé, so sail morning is a short taxi, not a roll downhill on cobbles.

No one under 16, no pets, and breakfast is about €20 extra. For a couple, none of that hurts.

Book it if

  • It’s just the two of you
  • You want a pool and a view on the last night ashore
  • You want Alfama’s lanes outside the door

Look elsewhere if

  • You’re travelling with children under 16
  • You’re bringing a pet
  • You want to walk to the ship with bags

Which quay

the Lisbon Cruise Terminal

Most turnarounds use the Lisbon Cruise Terminal at Jardim do Tabaco, on Av. Infante Dom Henrique by Santa Apolónia station. Memmo Alfama is about 550 m from our pin for it in a straight line, and about 4.1 km from Alcântara, the western quay. The port assigns the berth, so check your documents; the Lisbon cruise guide has the rest.
