None of the six runs a shuttle to the ship — the road figures are ours, with no traffic, to the terminal at Porto Corsini: Palazzo Bezzi about 8.6 miles, the Grand Hotel Rimini 40.4, Varignana 45.7 and the three Bologna hotels about 55.
From Bologna, the easy way is a direct train to Ravenna, about an hour, then Visit Ravenna’s transfer from the station, from €20 (about US$20) a person, or bus 90, which stops about 500 m from the terminal, per the tourism board.
Only Varignana lists a free breakfast, per its Expedia listing — the other pages don’t say. Parking runs from free at Varignana to €24 a day at Casa Bertagni and €25 a night in Rimini, and nobody says a car can stay while you sail.
The terminal and the lines that sell Ravenna as “Venice” are in our Ravenna cruise guide.
