Your quay decides the car park
The big ships use Oceankaj, which has its own public lot. The smaller ones use Langelinie or Nordre Toldbod, near the centre, where parking is dearer and not meant for a week.
P-plads Oceanvej
- Oceanvej 15, 2150 Nordhavn: 242 spaces, 50 to 100 m from Ocean Quay
- Run by By & Havn through ParkinCPH
- DKK 22 (about US$3) an hour 07:00 to 17:00, DKK 12 (about US$2) an hour 17:00 to 07:00
- Seven nights at the cap: DKK 1,050 (about US$160), our arithmetic
Garages in town
- No long-term parking at Langelinie or Nordre Toldbod, per VisitCopenhagen
- For Nordre Toldbod, the nearest indoor lot is Dronningens Tværgade 4, at DKK 500 a day
- Seven days at that rate would be DKK 3,500 (about US$525), our arithmetic
- A taxi from Central Station to Langelinie runs about DKK 135 (about US$20) by day
The lot by Ocean Quay, in detail
From Wonderful Copenhagen’s and VisitCopenhagen’s cruise pages, ParkinCPH’s area page and Norwegian’s directions — the city’s figures, not a reseller’s.
- DKK 22 an hour from 07:00 to 17:00 and DKK 12 an hour from 17:00 to 07:00, with a maximum of DKK 150 per 24 hours
- 242 spaces at Oceanvej 15; ParkinCPH’s page gives the address and the count but not the rates
- Norwegian prints the same hourly rates and lists six payment apps, ApcoaFlow and EasyPark among them
- Apart from MSC’s unpriced parking offer, nobody we read takes an advance booking, and nobody quotes a week rate
- Royal Caribbean’s directions say “limited parking is available for a daily and/or weekly fee”, without naming the lot

Parking in town, and a ride instead
Near Langelinie and Nordre Toldbod, Wonderful Copenhagen lists car parks with maximum day rates from DKK 335 to DKK 500. That’s parking for a day in the city, not a week. VisitCopenhagen is blunter: no long-term parking at either quay.
For a Langelinie or Nordre Toldbod ship, a taxi from Central Station costs less than a day in a garage near the quay: Wonderful Copenhagen puts it at about DKK 135 to Langelinie and DKK 116 (about US$17) to Nordre Toldbod by day, against DKK 335 to DKK 500 for the garage, and about DKK 212 (about US$30) to Oceankaj. Bus 25 or 164 and the metro reach Oceankaj in about 30 minutes on a two-zone ticket, DKK 24 (about US$4). Danish taxis run under a national price cap, so the meter has a ceiling. Renting? Copenhagen cruise port rental cars compares the desks.
Who should pick what
| Traveler | Likely fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Driving in, ship at Oceankaj | P-plads Oceanvej | Next to the terminals, with a DKK 150 daily cap. |
| Driving in, ship at Langelinie or Nordre Toldbod | Park at Oceanvej or in town, then a taxi | No long-term parking at either town quay; garages near them run up to DKK 500 a day. |
| Sailing MSC | Ask MSC first | Its Finnish page says to book parking with MSC, without a price. |
| Driving in, flying out after the cruise | An airport hotel package | Clarion’s 2026 Park, Stay & Fly and Go Hotel’s weekly rate leave the car at Kastrup — about 9 to 10 road miles from Oceankaj, so you still need a ride to the ship. |
| Staying in town the night before, no car | Taxi or metro and bus | From the old town and the centre, our routing puts Oceankaj 11 to 18 minutes away by car with no traffic. |

|---|---|---|
| Comwell Portside | DKK 38 (about US$6) an hour, capped at DKK 220 (about US$35) a day | Underground, in Nordhavn, about 2.2 road miles from Oceankaj by our routing; nothing says it takes a car for a week. |
| Go Hotel Østerport | DKK 200 (about US$30) per 24 hours | A small number of spaces at Østerport station, plus three EV chargers. |
| Comfort Vesterbro | DKK 320 (about US$50) a night, or DKK 48 (about US$7) an hour | An indoor garage with direct access, per Strawberry. |

| Clarion Airport | Park, Stay & Fly: 8 or 15 days, price not shown, 2026 offer | An airport package with a night and breakfast; it never mentions cruises. |
