Where should I park for a Philadelphia cruise?

Not at the terminal — it has no passenger parking. The port sends you to Park & Jet at the Clarion, $16 a day, prepaid by phone. It’s on the far side of the airport. The free shuttle to the ship is the whole plan, not a perk.

The port’s lot, and the other ways to leave the car

One official lot, two prices in print. What’s left to settle is which price a cruise gets, and whether a hotel deal beats it. Both of those are phone calls.

Checked October 3, 2026
  • Rate: $16 a day per vehicle, per PhilaPort. Neither page we read mentions tax. Review periodically
  • Where: the Clarion Hotel Philadelphia International Airport, 76 Industrial Highway, Essington, PA 19029 — about 7.2 road miles and 17 minutes from 4 Atlantic Avenue by our routing.
  • Paying: PhilaPort recommends prepaying by phone on 610-521-9600, 9 AM to 3 PM, seven days a week. Park & Jet says it’s reservation only, 24 hours ahead, and cashless since August 24, 2026.
  • The other price: Park & Jet’s site prints $13.95 a day for its own web reservations, which it sells for airport parking. Ask which rate a cruise gets before you book.

  • Big vehicles: no height or RV rule printed — call first.

Sail morning, in order

Prepay the parking by phone — a day or more ahead. On sail morning, drive to the Clarion on Industrial Highway and take the free shuttle round the airport to the terminal.

Don’t race the clock. PhilaPort asks guests not to arrive at the terminal before 9:30 AM. Come in the MyNCL check-in window you chose. Your bags go in outside the terminal, before security, with tags you print yourself.

Coming home, disembarkation runs from about 7:00 to 9:30 AM, per PhilaPort. Collect your bags, then ride the shuttle back to the lot — PhilaPort describes it running between the hotel and the terminal.

Hotels and other options

We didn’t find a private off-site cruise lot with published rates we’d stand behind. So $16 a day with a free shuttle is the number to beat. Park & Jet also runs a free 24/7 shuttle to PHL’s terminals, if you’re flying home rather than driving.

Norwegian checked passengers in at the Clarion in spring 2026, before the terminal opened, Cruise Industry News reported. That’s why older posts send you to the hotel for check-in. The terminal is open now, so check in there.

Hotels that hold the car

We went through the airport hotels’ own sites one at a time. We wanted a rate to leave the car while you sail. Only the Clarion has one in print — it is the port’s lot. SpringHill Suites in Ridley Park sells a “Park & Cruise” stay, and five more list Park, Stay, & Go or long-term parking — all unpriced. Our twenty-hotel ranking scores every one on parking and distance.

Parking FAQ

Is there parking at the Philadelphia cruise terminal?

No. "There is no passenger parking available at the PhilaPort Cruise Terminal," PhilaPort says. Its lot is Park & Jet at the Clarion Hotel, 76 Industrial Highway, Essington, with a free shuttle to the terminal.

How much is Philadelphia cruise parking?

$16 a day per vehicle, per PhilaPort, at Park & Jet at the Clarion. Neither PhilaPort nor Park & Jet says whether tax is included. Park & Jet's own site prints $13.95 a day. That's its airport web rate, not one it promises to cruisers. Ask which one a cruise gets.

How do I pay for Philadelphia cruise parking?

PhilaPort recommends prepaying by phone on 610-521-9600, from 9 AM to 3 PM any day. Park & Jet says it's reservation only, booked 24 hours ahead, and cashless from August 24, 2026. A Norwegian blog post mentions paying on arrival too. Settle it on the phone, not at the gate.

How far is the cruise parking from the Philadelphia terminal?

The Clarion is on the other side of the airport. By our routing it's about 7.2 road miles and 17 minutes from 4 Atlantic Avenue. That's why the free shuttle matters. PhilaPort says it runs between the hotel and the terminal for guests who park there.

Can I park an RV or oversized vehicle for a Philadelphia cruise?

Neither PhilaPort nor Park & Jet prints a height or RV rule for the cruise lot. Call 610-521-9600 before you set off — a big rig turned away at the gate has no plan B nearby.

Which Philadelphia hotels let you park while you cruise?

In our twenty, only the Clarion has a rate in print — because it's the port's lot. Six more put an offer on their own pages, without a price. Three are Hilton's Park, Stay, & Go, at Embassy Suites, the Hampton and the DoubleTree. Two are Marriott's long-term parking, at the Residence Inn and Sheraton Suites. The last is the "Park & Cruise" stay at SpringHill Suites in Ridley Park.
