The Sofitel is the one for families in Recoleta. A heated indoor pool with lifeguards, a gym, a spa, the ALMA restaurant and a bar, per Sofitel, and it takes pets — terms unstated.
It’s about 1.4 km from the terminal by our map. The page leaves gaps, though — no check-in times and no parking price. Sofitel ties breakfast to packages, so ask which rate carries it.

Which quay
the terminalShips embark at the Quinquela Martín terminal on Av. Ramón Castillo, inside the working Puerto Nuevo port zone. Sofitel Recoleta is about 1.4 km from our pin for the terminal in a straight line, and about 2.4 km from Plaza de Mayo. That’s a taxi, not a walk. Port guides advise against walking the approaches, and we found no official rule either way; Holland America lists no luggage storage at the pier. No source publishes the terminal’s exact position; the Buenos Aires cruise guide has the rest.
