Hotel Sanders is the quiet one behind the theatre, and the only splurge here with a 24-hour parking price, from MICHELIN. MICHELIN gives it One Key in the 2025 Nordic selection and lists 54 rooms, Sanders Kitchen, the TATA Cocktail Bar and a rooftop conservatory; MICHELIN's listing gives valet at DKK 650 (about US$100) per 24 hours, which we couldn't confirm on the hotel's own site, so ask, and Forbes lists it as Recommended.
That valet figure is for your stay, not a cruise. At that rate, the lot by Ocean Quay, capped at DKK 150 (about US$25) a day, is the obvious place to leave a car for the week.
There's no pool, just spa treatments on request. Dogs up to 20 kg pay a DKK 1,000 (about US$150) fee, and bikes rent for DKK 175 (about US$25) a day.
Book it for a quiet last night near Nyhavn, and take a taxi the 5.2 road miles to Oceankaj.
Book it if
- You want a small hotel, not a big one
- A cocktail bar and a rooftop conservatory appeal
- You're travelling with a dog under 20 kg
Look elsewhere if
- You want a pool.
- You're leaving a car for the cruise — valet is DKK 650 a day.
- You want Forbes stars, not a recommendation.
