SpringHill Suites Norfolk ODU: Pre-Cruise Hotel Review

The verdict

SpringHill Suites by ODU prints the lowest parking rate of any of our twenty away from the airport. Self-parking is $13 a day, breakfast is free, and Recovery Sports Grill has 19 TVs and a bar, in an all-suite hotel on Hampton Boulevard.

It's about 4.1 road miles to the terminal by our routing, straight down Hampton Boulevard — far enough for a cab, close enough that the fare stays small.

There's no shuttle, Marriott says nothing about leaving the car while you sail, and Visit Norfolk's 2024 offer here was 20% off the room, not parking.

Book it for the breakfast and the game — then leave the car at Cedar Grove on sail morning.
