The Danieli is the famous name with a new owner's badge. It reopened on July 30, 2026 as Danieli, Venezia, A Four Seasons Hotel — 120 rooms including 52 suites on the Riva degli Schiavoni, about 2.0 miles on foot from Marittima by our routing.
It's so new that the details are thin: Terrazza Danieli on the roof and Bar Dandolo are open, and the Danieli Spa is due in late 2026.
Four Seasons and its own press release give different room counts for 2027, so the hotel is still changing. The Michelin lists we read date from 2025, before it reopened, and don't include it — not a judgement either way.
Book it for the name and the rooftop, and ask whether the spa is open on your night.
Book it if
- You want the Danieli name under Four Seasons
- You want a rooftop dinner by San Marco
- You don't need the spa
Look elsewhere if
- You want the spa — it's due late 2026.
- You want an easy walk to the ship.
- You want a rating you can check.
