Enchantment's smartest upgrade may be another cabin. Royal currently publishes one standard Interior at 136 square feet, two Connecting Interiors at 272 combined, one standard Ocean View at 126, and two Connecting Ocean Views at 302 combined. Before you climb toward a balcony or suite, price what a second room actually buys.
The ship's lengthening matters because it kills lazy sister-ship assumptions. It does not mean every cabin is unusual. Use Enchantment's own current plan, then make every premium explain its job.
Enchantment of the Seas is about access to the view
The useful ladder is one room versus two rooms: 136 → 272 on the Interior side and 126 → 302 on the Ocean View side. That is more actionable than simply climbing Interior → Ocean View → Balcony → Suite.

The ship gives you the view before the cabin does
Enchantment of the Seas separates the public-view decision from the private-view decision. The ship already supplies scenery; your cabin premium buys control over when and how privately you see it.
The budget answer. On Radiance and Brilliance, Royal currently publishes 170 square feet — not automatically smaller than Ocean View.
Often a daylight upgrade rather than a space upgrade. If the footprint is the same, price the window honestly.
This is where the cabin begins to compete with the ship's public viewing spaces. Buy it when private access to scenery matters.
The wake can be the product, but balcony geometry can vary dramatically within a published category.
Large suites solve space, bathrooms and group layout. Do not assume they are simply 'more view' for more money.

Radiance itself currently has a purpose-built one-person Studio Interior. Solo math belongs on the ship page, not in a universal class assumption.
On a scenery-first ship, private scenery has to earn the premium
Enchantment has balcony inventory, but this first build keeps the measurement rule strict: no current Enchantment number means no sister-ship substitute. Price private outdoor space against the exact live cabin.
The balcony's job
Private outdoor access. That can be worth a lot on a compact older ship — but make the fare difference explicit.
Compare against two rooms
For a family, one balcony cabin is not automatically a better purchase than 272 square feet across two Connecting Interiors or 302 across two Connecting Ocean Views.

The biggest room is not automatically the best family layout
This is Enchantment's strongest buying argument: price the second room before the prestige upgrade. The connecting Interior pair totals 272; the connecting Ocean View pair totals 302.

Any Enchantment suite aimed at a family has a real opponent: two connected rooms. Make the suite win on fare, usable space, bathroom access, sleeping structure, balcony, benefits or one-space convenience.

Buy the amount of scenery you actually need
Start by deciding whether you need darkness, daylight, private air, the wake or more rooms. Only then choose the category.
Start with Interior. On several verified sisters, you are not giving up standard floor area versus Ocean View.
Ocean View may solve the problem without changing room size. Price the window.
Move to the ship's standard balcony and use it as the control.
Shop aft/Sunset by exact cabin number. Balcony geometry can vary too much to buy the label blind.
Price one high-occupancy room against two connecting cabins before choosing.
Put the two-bedroom suite against multiple cabins. Count bathrooms and privacy, not just total square feet.
The category gets you close. The cabin number finishes the decision.
