Four options, no official one
Every other port we cover has had at least one official, port-operated option to compare against. San Diego doesn't — these four are simply the operators the Port of San Diego's own site names as recommended, not endorsed rates.
Aladdin Airport & Cruise Ship Parking
- 1.4 miles per the port's own site (a third-party guide says 1.0 mile)
- Free shuttle with live tracking, confirmed on the port's own recommended list
- $21 rooftop, $23 indoor, $30 valet a day on its reservations page; it doesn't say whether cruise parking differs
San Diego's Park, Shuttle & Fly
- 2.8 miles per the port's own site (a third-party guide says 1.5 miles)
- Round-the-clock shuttle, confirmed on the port's own recommended list
- No oversized vehicles or RVs, per the port's own list; pay when you get back
Ace Parking
- Multiple locations, incl. the Wyndham Bayside garage across the street with self-park and valet
- Operator's own site: "shuttles do not run from all locations"
- The Wyndham’s lot is $30 a day reserved, $72 without, with a free shuttle, on the booking site the port links
ABM Parking
- Surface Lots 1043 & 1090: 0.6 miles, no shuttle, 18-ft cap
- Lot 1124 (Harbor Island): 2.5 miles, accepts oversized vehicles
- Reservations via the Arrive or SpotHero platforms, not a posted rate
What the port itself recommends
The Port of San Diego's own site states plainly that "cruise ship passengers can't park their vehicles on the pier" — and rather than running a garage of its own, it names four operators worth checking, without naming a rate for any of them.
- Aladdin Airport & Cruise Ship Parking — 2548 Kettner Blvd. Free shuttle with live tracking, confirmed directly on the port's own recommended-operator list. Its own reservations page lists $21 a day rooftop, $23 indoor and $30 quick valet, without saying whether cruise parking differs. Phone: 619-696-7434 on the port’s list.
- San Diego's Park, Shuttle & Fly — 3405 Pacific Highway. Round-the-clock shuttle, confirmed directly on the port's own list. Its own cruise-parking page lists $24.95 a day, with the shuttle free and parking paid when you get back; its coupon isn’t valid for cruisers. No oversized vehicles or RVs, per the port. Phone: 619-291-1234.
- Ace Parking — multiple locations including the Wyndham Bayside garage (self-park and valet, across the street) and the BRIC North/South garages. The operator's own site notes shuttles don't run from every location. Its booking site, airportparkingconnection.com, which the port links, lists reserved rates from $15 to $40 a day: 501 West Broadway from $15, the BRIC garages $25 self-park (7-foot limit), the Wyndham $30 reserved ($72 without) with a free shuttle. Phone: 800-925-7275 (M-F, 8am-4:30pm).
- ABM Parking — Surface Lots 1043 & 1090 (0.6 miles, no shuttle, 18-ft cap), Lot 1124 on Harbor Island (2.5 miles, accepts oversized vehicles), and Campus at Horton Garage (800 4th Ave, under 1 mile, covered, no in/out privileges). Reservations run through the Arrive or SpotHero platforms rather than a posted daily rate.

A wider field of budget and airport-adjacent lots turns up in third-party aggregator guides — one hotel roughly 10 miles out cites a rate as low as $6/day — but we don't name aggregator listings at any port, so none of those is named here beyond the four operators above. Hotels that hold the car
We’ve since checked 47 hotels one by one, on their own sites, and one prints a price that includes parking while you sail. The Comfort Inn at the Harbor’s Cruise & Snooze is from $209 a night with tax for two: the room, breakfast, 7 days of parking and the shuttle to the terminal and back, then $10 a day.
More sell the car in a package at prices they don’t publish: the Best Western Plus Bayside Inn, 5 blocks from the terminal, with 7 nights in its covered lot, and the Wyndham, across the street, with 3, 4 or 7 nights. The 20 best hotels for the night before scores every one and prices the parking for your cruise length.

Who should pick what
| Traveler | Likely best fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Want the shortest possible walk, no shuttle math | Ace Parking's Wyndham Bayside garage | Across the street from the terminal — but confirm shuttle availability isn't needed there before booking. |
| Want a confirmed free shuttle with live tracking | Aladdin Airport & Cruise Ship Parking | The only operator on the port's list confirmed to run live shuttle tracking. |
| Driving in from out of town, want 24/7 access | San Diego's Park, Shuttle & Fly | Round-the-clock shuttle and long-term parking built for exactly this trip — just not for an RV. |
| Driving an RV or oversized vehicle | ABM Parking's Lot 1124 (Harbor Island) | The one option on the port's list confirmed to accept oversized vehicles — a longer walk or shuttle trade-off at 2.5 miles. |
| Staying the night before, want the car and the ride in one price | The Comfort Inn at the Harbor | Cruise & Snooze, from $209 a night with tax for two, includes 7 days of parking and the shuttle both ways, on the hotel’s own page. |
| Budget-conscious, comfortable booking ahead online | ABM's Surface Lots or Ace Parking's 501 West Broadway location | Ace’s 501 West Broadway lot is from $15 a day reserved on its booking site, the lowest we found; ABM books through ParkWhiz and SpotHero, so get a quote. |

Parking FAQ
Is there official parking at the San Diego cruise terminals?
No. The Port of San Diego's own site states plainly that passengers can't park on the pier, and there's no port-operated garage anywhere near B Street Cruise Terminal or Broadway Pier — the first port we cover with no official option at all. Instead, the port publishes its own short list of recommended nearby private operators, without naming a rate for any of them.
Which parking operators does the Port of San Diego actually recommend?
Four: Aladdin Airport & Cruise Ship Parking (1.4 miles, free shuttle with live tracking), San Diego's Park, Shuttle & Fly (2.8 miles, round-the-clock shuttle), Ace Parking (multiple locations including the Wyndham Bayside garage across the street, though not every location shuttles), and ABM Parking (several lots from 0.6 to 2.5 miles, reserved via the Arrive or SpotHero platforms). All four are named directly on the port's own recommended-operator page, though none of their rates is confirmed there.
How much does San Diego cruise parking actually cost?
Three of the port’s listed operators publish rates. San Diego’s Park, Shuttle & Fly is $24.95 a day with a free shuttle, on its own cruise-parking page; its coupon isn’t valid for cruisers. Aladdin’s reservations page lists $21 rooftop, $23 indoor and $30 valet a day, without a separate cruise rate. Ace’s booking site, which the port links, lists reserved rates from $15 to $40 a day, including the Wyndham Bayside’s lot at $30 reserved ($72 without). ABM’s lots book through ParkWhiz and SpotHero, where we couldn’t read a rate. Rates can change, so book or quote directly.
Can I park an RV or oversized vehicle for a San Diego cruise?
ABM Parking's Lot 1124 on Harbor Island (2.5 miles from the terminals) is the one option confirmed on the port's own recommended-operator list as accepting oversized vehicles. ABM's closer Surface Lots 1043 and 1090 cap at 18 feet, and the port's own list says San Diego's Park, Shuttle & Fly can't take oversized vehicles, RVs included.
Do any San Diego parking operators run a shuttle to the terminals?
Aladdin Airport & Cruise Ship Parking and San Diego's Park, Shuttle & Fly both run a free shuttle, confirmed directly on the port's own recommended-operator list. Ace Parking's own site notes shuttles don't run from every location — check the specific lot. ABM's closer Surface Lots (0.6 miles) run no shuttle at all; it's a short walk instead.
