Why Sky Princess, specifically
There are two credible reasons to pick her, and neither is a marketing line. First: timing. Delivered in 2019, she arrived two years after the OceanMedallion's debut on her sister Regal — meaning Sky has never operated a single day without it. No retrofit era in her logbook, no before-and-after; crews and systems aboard have only ever known the disc-first way of working.
Second: the economics of anonymity. Her elder sisters carry legends — a duchess's champagne, a TV cast at the bow — and legends have a way of anchoring demand. Sky offers the identical envelope — the class's standard tonnage band, the standard ~3,600-guest manifest — with zero lore attached. When the sisters' fares diverge for your dates, the quiet one is often where the value hides.
