One terminal, two ways to park
Canada Place has a single cruise terminal, so there's no "which pier" question here the way there is at Seattle or San Francisco — just a choice between the garage under the terminal and the long-term lot at the airport. Both print a rate, but price your own dates before you book; currency is Canadian dollars throughout.
Canada Place parkade (Indigo)
- Indigo’s lot V374; each day ends at midnight
- A daily rate, not a price for a cruise stay: ask Indigo to price your dates
- Enter by the ramp at the foot of Howe Street; long-term parking on P1 (up to 6′6″) and P2 (up to 6′9″), per the port
- You park under the terminal itself, so there’s no transfer
YVR’s Value Long Term lot
- YVR says booking online gets its lowest rates; it doesn’t print a set discount
- A free train to the terminal, then the Canada Line to Waterfront Station, next to Canada Place
- We couldn’t confirm a downtown lot with a current cruise rate, so none is listed
The on-site option: Canada Place’s parkade
It’s the closest place to leave the car, and the priciest printed option. What it comes to for your cruise is a question for Indigo.
- Operator: Indigo Park Canada, per the Port of Vancouver and Canada Place’s own site. The Pan Pacific, the hotel above the terminal, says the garage is independently operated by Indigo and that self-park tickets come from Indigo’s machines in the garage.
- Access: the ramp at the foot of Howe Street. The port allows stops of 15 minutes or less at the parkade to drop off or pick up cruise passengers.
- Height: long-term parking on P1 takes vehicles up to 198 cm (6′6″) and P2 up to 205 cm (6′9″), per the port.
- Rate: Indigo lists the lot, V374, at C$74.50 a day for a same-day pay-station purchase, with each day ending at midnight. That’s a daily rate, not a guaranteed total for a cruise stay, so ask Indigo to price your dates: 604.669.7275, or 1.800.469.4169 toll-free, per the port, or Indigo’s cruise and long-term parking page.

The airport lot, and why no downtown lot is listed
The cheaper printed price is at YVR. Downtown lots may exist, but we couldn’t confirm one that currently sells cruise parking at a published rate.
- The airport: YVR’s Value Long Term lot is C$31 a day or C$165 a week, per YVR, which says booking online gets its lowest rates without printing a set discount. Its free train runs to the terminal up to every 6 minutes from 5:10 AM to 12:56 AM, and the Canada Line takes you on to Waterfront Station.
- Downtown lots: an older cruise line port guide names two independent operators, but we couldn’t confirm a current rate, service or shuttle with either, so we don’t recommend them.

Hotels that hold the car
We’ve since checked 40 hotels downtown and by YVR, one by one, on their own sites. None prints a fixed price to leave the car for a whole cruise. Downtown, the Fairmont Waterfront offers weekly self-parking to cruise guests on request. By the airport, four offer it: the Abercorn’s extended parking, for a fee it doesn’t print; the Vancouver Airport Marriott’s Park Here, Fly There package, one night with parking for up to 21, if you bring an airline or cruise itinerary; Accent Inns’ Stay n Park, a week of parking with extra nights at C$10 each, up to 28; and the Radisson Blu’s dated Park and Fly offers, whose terms sit with each booking.
Indigo Park Canada runs the Canada Place garage, entered at the foot of Howe Street, and lists C$74.50 a day at its pay stations; that’s a daily rate, so ask Indigo to price your dates (604.669.7275, per the port). YVR’s Value Long Term lot is C$31 a day, per YVR. The 20 best hotels for a Vancouver cruise scores every one, and prices the airport lot for your cruise length.

Who should pick what
| Traveler | Likely best fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Wants the simplest option | Canada Place’s parkade | No transfer and no shuttle to coordinate. At C$74.50 a day on the pay station, get Indigo’s price for your dates first. |
| Flying into YVR without a rental car | Neither — take SkyTrain | The Canada Line runs directly from the airport to Waterfront Station, an easy walk to the terminal. You may not need parking at all. |
| Driving in and price-sensitive | YVR’s Value Long Term lot | C$31 a day or C$165 a week plus the Canada Line, against C$74.50 a day at Canada Place’s pay station. |
| Arriving the morning of departure with tight timing | Canada Place's own garage | No transfer or shuttle wait to account for if your schedule is already tight. |
| Booking from the U.S. and budgeting in USD | Either — but convert carefully | Every figure here is CAD. Check the current exchange rate rather than assuming CAD and USD track closely. |

Parking FAQ
Is there official parking at the Vancouver cruise terminal?
Yes. Canada Place has an underground parkade run by Indigo Park Canada, entered by the ramp at the foot of Howe Street, per the Port of Vancouver. Long-term parking is on P1 (up to 6'6") and P2 (up to 6'9"). Indigo lists the lot, V374, at C$74.50 a day for a same-day pay-station purchase, with each day ending at midnight. That's a daily rate, not a price for a cruise stay, so ask Indigo to price your dates: the port lists 604.669.7275, or 1.800.469.4169 toll-free.
How much does Canada Place parking cost?
Indigo lists C$74.50 a day at the pay station for its Canada Place lot, V374, and each day ends at midnight. It's a daily rate, not a quote for your cruise, so ask Indigo to price your dates before you drive. The cheaper printed option is at the airport: YVR's Value Long Term lot is C$31 a day or C$165 a week, per YVR, which says booking online gets its lowest rates.
Is off-site parking near Canada Place actually cheaper?
We couldn't confirm a downtown lot that currently offers cruise parking with a published rate, so we don't list one. The cheaper printed option is YVR's Value Long Term lot, C$31 a day or C$165 a week, with the Canada Line to Waterfront Station, next to Canada Place.
Do I need a car to get to Canada Place, or is transit realistic?
Transit is a real option here: the Canada Line runs from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to Waterfront Station, next to Canada Place. If you're flying in and not renting a car, you may not need parking at all.
Is there a shuttle from off-site lots to the terminal?
Not one we could confirm. If a downtown lot offers one, get it in writing before you book.
