The verdict

Pan Pacific is the shortest trip to a ship of any hotel we checked — it's an elevator ride. The hotel is part of Canada Place, with a direct elevator down to the cruise terminal, and its Cruise Package adds a luggage transfer to the ship and breakfast for two.

The outdoor saltwater pool and hot tub on the roof open at 6 AM, and AAA has rated it Four Diamond since 2007.

It finishes second, not first, on parking. The garage underneath belongs to Indigo, not the hotel, and nothing on Pan Pacific's page covers a car left for a week. Indigo's own rate pages wouldn't load for us on Oct 2, 2026.

Take the Cruise Package and ride the elevator down — and if you drove, call Indigo before you trust the garage.

Book it if

  • Anyone who wants the shortest walk to the ship
  • A swim on the roof over the harbour
  • Pet owners

Look elsewhere if

  • You want breakfast without a package.
  • You need to leave the car.
