There is no main dining room and no buffet on any Lady-Class ship. Virgin's included restaurants — The Wake, The Test Kitchen, Extra Virgin, Gunbae, Pink Agave, and each ship's own evening concept — are the fare-included core, and that's the term used throughout this page and every ship page: included restaurants, never "main dining room" or "rotational dining."

Using one venue per physical dining concept, the four ships share a 14-venue core — not Virgin's own "20+ eateries" marketing figure. The gap is a counting-convention difference, not a factual disagreement. The Galley is a food hall of 8+ made-to-order stations, scored as ONE venue, not eight. Razzle Dazzle and its evening overlay (Lucky Lotus, Ariya, Rojo, or none on Resilient) are ONE physical venue per ship, never two. Bars without a real food menu — The Manor, The Red Room, Draught Haus — are excluded entirely; they're nightclub and live-performance spaces on Virgin's own deck plans, not scored dining venues. Apply that convention consistently and every ship lands at the same 14-venue core, plus a separately tracked paid dinner-show layer.

Included Dining 25% · Specialty Dining 20% · Variety 15% · Quality Ceiling 10% · Value 10% · Casual & Quick Dining 10% · Special Experiences 5% · Suite & Restricted Dining 5%. Suite & Restricted Dining stays at its normal 5% weight on every ship, even though it locks at the floor on all four — the category isn't redistributed away just because there's currently nothing in it.

Value isn't a guess built on missing prices. The core roster — steakhouse, Italian trattoria, Korean BBQ, Mexican, the flagship tasting menu, and the evening concept — is fare-included on every ship. That's the real, structural driver of a strong Value score across the class, not the absence or presence of published a la carte pricing.

Virgin has no separate paid-specialty-restaurant tier the way most cruise lines do. There's no included MDR sitting next to a walled-off, cover-charge steakhouse. Virgin's signature restaurants — The Test Kitchen, The Wake, Extra Virgin, Gunbae, Pink Agave, and each ship's Razzle Dazzle evening concept — function like the specialty layer on other cruise lines; the difference is that Virgin includes them in the fare.

That overlap is a genuine structural fact about Virgin's product. Virgin doesn't separate "what's included" from "what's excellent" the way a line with a traditional MDR-plus-paid-steakhouse structure does — its best restaurants are simply part of the fare. Scoring them high in both categories reflects that honestly.

The paid layer moved entirely into Special Experiences, where it belongs. It's a Ship Show, Another Rose, and Up With a Twist — Virgin's ticketed, extra-cost dinner-show experiences — are tracked there, not folded into Specialty Dining. "Treat Yourself" a la carte upcharges touch Specialty and Value at the margins only; they never define either category.

A 1.0 here simply means no suite-restricted dining product currently exists to evaluate on any of these four ships. It's not a bad suite product and not an editorial dig at Virgin.

The 1.0 doesn't follow the normal scoring scale. Every other category score on this page reflects the venues actually on board. Suite & Restricted Dining doesn't, because there's nothing to score — it locks flat at 1.0 instead.

RockStar Quarters (suite) guests get real perks — just never a separate restaurant. Earlier dining-reservation booking windows, Richard's Rooftop access, and other service perks are genuine and confirmed. What doesn't exist is a dedicated suite-restricted venue like MSC Yacht Club or Royal Caribbean's suite dining — and that's the entire gap this category measures.

There's no indication Virgin plans to add a suite-restricted restaurant to this class. Virgin's dining model is deliberately egalitarian by design, not mid-transition — don't expect a "coming soon" date, because none has been published or implied anywhere in Virgin's own materials.

Razzle Dazzle and its evening concept are one physical venue per ship, never two. Scoring convention across this whole guide: no ship gets a venue-count advantage for having a themed overlay. All four ships carry 14 core venues. The real differentiation shows up in each venue's own score, and in Variety, Quality Ceiling, and Special Experiences — never in an extra venue card.

Resilient's choice not to add a themed overlay is the honest, real reason she trails her sisters slightly in Specialty Dining — not a structural gap, a different path. She takes real credit back in Special Experiences, where Another Rose, her own ticketed dinner-show experience (current checked price: $50 per person — verify in the Virgin Voyages app), pushes her to the class's second-highest score in that category (6.9) — behind only Brilliant Lady (7.1, via her own Up With a Twist) and clearly ahead of Valiant (6.3, via her own It's a Ship Show) and Scarlet (3.5), who has no ticketed dinner show of her own.

Special Experiences separates the three ships with a dinner show of their own from the one that doesn't have one. Brilliant (7.1) and Resilient (6.9) — both running their own ticketed dinner show — lead the category; Valiant (6.3), running her own It's a Ship Show, follows; Scarlet (3.5), with no ticketed dinner show at all, trails clearly. It's the one category where Resilient outscores two of her three sisters.

Everywhere else, the order tracks the evening concept's strength. Brilliant and Valiant lead Included Dining, Specialty Dining, Variety, and Quality Ceiling on the back of Rojo and Ariya; Scarlet sits just behind on Lucky Lotus; Resilient trails narrowly across those same four categories — never by more than half a point — reflecting the one ship without a themed overlay, not a weaker ship overall.
