The Brooklyn splurge. 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge is AAA Four Diamond, on AAA's list since 2017, at 60 Furman Street in Brooklyn Bridge Park, with a rooftop pool, the Bamford Wellness Spa and Barbuto.
The fee is the catch — $45 a room a day plus tax, charged at check-in. It covers an Audi e-tron car service, but the hotel gives no range for it and never mentions the cruise terminal.
Breakfast is extra, valet is $90 for 24 hours plus tax, and an early check-in or a late check-out costs a night's rate plus tax.
Ask whether the Audi goes to Red Hook before you book, and budget a cab if it doesn't.
Book it if
- A Brooklyn sailing from Red Hook
- Swimmers: the pool is on the roof
- Dog owners, up to 40 lb
Look elsewhere if
- You want breakfast included.
- You want to avoid an amenity fee.
- You want a ride to the ship in writing.
What you’re paying for, and what you’re not
A splurge is worth it when you know exactly what the extra money buys. Green is on offer, gold comes with a cost or a catch, and grey isn’t there or isn’t stated.

The $45 daily amenity fee includes an Audi e-tron car service, per the hotel, but its pages give no range for it and don't mention the cruise terminal, so we don't count it as a ride to the ship. A taxi or rideshare covers the trip.

Valet is $44 up to 3 hours, $54 up to 6 and $90 for 24, tax not included, with EV parking. Nothing about leaving the car while you cruise.
Getting here, and on to the ship
Pick where you’re coming from. Solid lines are rides the hotel publishes; a question mark is a leg you’ll arrange yourself. At a splurge hotel, that’s usually the morning ride.
The hotel's FAQ gives the distance but mentions no airport transport.
