The Hilton at the cricket ground is the one hotel that sells the whole night before as a single price. Park, Stay and Cruise is from £165, with a room, breakfast at BEEFY'S, up to 21 nights of parking and "Transfers to and from the cruise terminal" — read October 3, 2026.
It's off M27 Junction 7, about 6.4 road miles to Mayflower and 5.6 to Ocean by our routing. The hotel calls it a 25-minute drive, which is the honest figure on a sail morning.
One thing to settle before you pay. The package lists transfers, yet the same page says reception will help you book "taxi transport to the docks". Holiday Extras, a reseller, describes the transfer as complimentary; that's their word, not Hilton's. Ask who books it and whether it brings you back.
Book it if you're driving and want one number for the car, the bed and the ride, not three bookings.
Book it if
- You're driving in and want the parking, the room and the ride in one price
- Cricket fans — Deluxe rooms have a balcony over the ground
- You'd rather avoid city-centre traffic the night before
Look elsewhere if
- You want to walk to the ship.
- You need to know before booking who arranges the transfer.
- You want a pool.
