Expect the verandah-heavy, deliberately understated stateroom mix her sister carries. This class was drawn once and built twice, and the gap between the two deliveries changed almost nothing inside the cabins.
The meaningful difference is how many people share the corridor. About 2,104 guests at double occupancy is several hundred fewer than a Pinnacle ship carries, and that shows up at breakfast and at the gangway — which matters more here than anywhere else in the fleet, because on an Alaska call you may have sixteen hours of gangway to use.
Above the cabins
The premium layer is thinner than the flagships'. Club Orange sells as a daily upgrade across the fleet, but the purpose-built Club Orange restaurant exists only aboard Nieuw Statendam, so here you are buying an arrangement rather than a room.
Evolution should bring fresh stateroom and suite categories to both Signature ships. The published detail so far — 76 additional staterooms, 30 of them solo verandahs — applies to Oosterdam, not to this hull. Ask what has been confirmed for Nieuw Amsterdam specifically rather than assuming the list transfers across the program.

Enough restaurants to carry a week comfortably, arranged around the one venue the smaller classes never got.
Kitchens and tables
Tamarind is the room people upgrade into this class for — pan-Asian, panoramic, and absent from both the Vista and R-class ships. The Pinnacle Grill, Canaletto, the Dining Room, Lido Market and Dive-In sit around it.
Set against a flagship it is a shorter roster, and we would rather say so than dress it up: five specialty restaurants and the Grand Dutch Café live on Pinnacle Class. Part of that gap is what the Evolution program is meant to close on these two ships.
Bands, stages, screens
The Music Walk cluster runs here in full — blues at B.B. King's, two pianos trading songs at Billboard Onboard, and the Rolling Stone Lounge — all of which, on a sixteen-hour port day, is mostly relevant after you are back aboard.
Production shows run in a conventional theater rather than the 270-degree LED room fitted to Pinnacle Class. The 2025 entertainment overhaul still applies, with a string ensemble and soloists booked for the region being sailed, so an Alaska week gets Alaska-appropriate music instead of a fixed script.
