None of the five runs a shuttle to the ship, and none prints a distance to the cruise terminals. The numbers are ours, road routes with no traffic: the Dover Marina Hotel about 1.0 mile, the Marquis of Granby about 6.8, Hythe Imperial about 12.2, THE PIG about 14.9 and Eastwell Manor about 24.6.
Breakfast isn’t free at any of them, as far as their pages say. The Dover Marina Hotel charges £17.95 a person; the other four don’t say.
Parking is £5 a day at the Dover Marina Hotel, free at Hythe Imperial and ample at the Marquis, per the AA; THE PIG and Eastwell don’t mention it. Not one of the five offers to keep the car for the cruise. Relyon’s park-and-ride publishes £9 (about US$12) a day.
The terminals and the lines that sail from Dover are in our Dover cruise guide — the hotel is the easy part once you know your sail day.
