The Calile earns its place on this list with a luggage room, not a shuttle. The hotel's page says storage is free before or after your stay — so a long gap between check-out and boarding doesn't mean dragging bags around the Valley.
On our routing the terminal is 10.8 road miles (17.3 km) from James Street, about 25 minutes with no traffic and the shortest drive of the eight — though the page prints no ride to it. The airport fares it does give are in the first leg below, and they're the hotel's own numbers.
Self-parking is A$50 (about US$35) a day and valet A$70 (about US$50); the page's dollar signs are plain, and we read them as Australian. It doesn't mention a pool, so don't pack swimwear on faith.
I'd book it if boarding is hours after check-out, not if you just want a bed. Ask about a late check-out first, because the page says only that it's on request.
Book it if
- A long gap between check-out and boarding
- You'd rather eat downstairs than go looking
- You want the shortest drive of the eight
Look elsewhere if
- A pool matters to you, and the page lists none.
- You need a ride to the terminal in writing.
- A pet is coming along, and the page is silent on them.

Wilson lots A$31 to A$46 a day (about US$20 to US$30)For the cruise itself, price the terminal instead of the hotel: Wilson's P2 lot lists A$34 for a day or A$64 (about US$45) for three, prepaid, as of Oct 6, 2026.

17.3 km to Pinkenba, and no ride printed
James Street is the nearest of the eight to Pinkenba — and it's still a taxi you book yourself, not a shuttle you board. Pick your starting point below.
The page lists three ways in: a private transfer at about A$79 (about US$55) each way, a taxi or Uber at about A$35, or the train at A$18 (about US$13) for roughly 40 minutes.
The hotel
Budget for a taxi; the page lists no ride. The free luggage room can soak up any wait before it arrives.
Driving? Self-park or valet, rates above.
Nothing on the page covers the last leg either — allow about 25 minutes by taxi or car, and use the luggage room if you're early.
Flying in on sail day? Skip The Calile and read the airport page for the fares that matter.
Distance
~10.8 road mi to the cruise terminal, our routingThe Calile prints no distance to a terminal. The 10.8 road miles (17.3 km) to the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal is our routing, 25 minutes with no traffic.

Ship shuttle not statedYou'll book the ship leg yourself; the page offers nothing for it.
Source: tfehotels.comBags held free, four places to eat
Green marks what the hotel prints (bag storage, parking and airport fares), and the pool is a blank.
Leave the bags, see the Valley
Eat in the building, and let the luggage room cover any gap before boarding.
Dinner can stay in the building — the page lists four places to eat and drink, and no pool.
Ask the desk about the taxi, and ask them to hold the bags until it arrives.
The page doesn't describe or price breakfast, so ask whether your rate includes it.
Allow a margin on top of the roughly 25 minutes; that figure assumes empty roads.
Two parking bills are in play while you sail, the hotel's and the terminal lot's. Both are in the parking section above.

Also worth knowing
- Luggage storage is free before or after your stay
No pool on the page
Worth knowing
- A pool is the one thing the page never mentions, so we can't promise one.
- Early and late check-out are on request, not promised.
- The airport prices are the hotel's own, in plain dollar signs, and its A$35 taxi sits well below Brisbane Airport's A$67 to A$82 to the city.
What we couldn’t confirm
- A pool
- Breakfast terms
- Pet rules
- A ride to the terminal
What's here is what The Calile's own page said on October 6, 2026, with its plain dollar signs read as Australian dollars.
If you want a pool
We'll ask about the luggage room
Send your sail date. We'll ask The Calile how long it will hold your bags and whether a late check-out is realistic. No payment on the form.
Luggage, the A$35 taxi and the missing pool
Can I leave my luggage at The Calile?
Yes, per the hotel's page: storage is free before or after your stay. Ask how long they'll hold bags on sail day.
Is The Calile's A$35 airport taxi fare realistic?
Brisbane Airport's own page puts a taxi to the city at A$67 to A$82, so the hotel's A$35 (as of Oct 6, 2026) deserves a question: ask the desk what it assumes.
Is there anywhere to swim at The Calile?
The pages we read don't mention a pool or a spa, so ask the hotel before you pack swimwear.
What time do I have to be out of The Calile?
Check-out is before 11 a.m. and check-in is from 2 p.m. Early check-in and late check-out are on request, so ask for them before you pay.
How long is the taxi from The Calile to the cruise terminal?
Plan on a taxi: our routing gives about 25 minutes with no traffic, so allow more on a busy morning.
Booking the cruise too?
Give us the line and date and we'll ask The Calile how long it will hold your bags. No obligation.
