The verdict

A party of six can sleep here, and a shuttle is mentioned that we can't count. Accor puts Circular Quay 400 m away, one minute on foot or five by car, and lists two-bedroom garden-view and harbour-view apartments. It ranks sixth.

On our routing the Overseas Passenger Terminal is about 1.4 road miles (2.2 km) and 5 minutes off, and White Bay is 3.3. Accor's summary mentions a shuttle, but the Pullman brand page says only that taxis and paid shuttles are readily available, so we count no hotel ride. The quay is named as a place, not a station.

Flaminia, an Italian seafood restaurant, and the Acapulco El Vista cocktail bar are listed. Accor shows its own rating of 4.5 from 1,485 reviews, which we don't score. Pets aren't accommodated.

I'd book this one if you're up to six and want an apartment with a harbour view — and I'd ask about the kitchen before you pay, since the page doesn't say.

Book it if

  • You're a group of up to six who want one apartment.
  • Italian seafood is the plan for dinner.
  • You want the harbour-view version of the two-bedroom.

Look elsewhere if

  • You're bringing a pet.
  • You need a shuttle you can count on — we can't count one.
  • You need the parking price before you commit.

From SYD without a hotel shuttle

Sydney Airport is about 9.6 road miles from Macquarie Street, roughly 16 minutes on clear roads. Transport NSW's fixed A$60 (about US$40) taxi fare applies to the CBD, and a terminal may fall outside it; the airport page covers the fare and the train.

At the terminals

No parking at the terminal on cruise days

That's parking for your night, not the sailing. The Port Authority says ship days leave no spaces at the Overseas Passenger Terminal, and the one car park at White Bay is for drop-offs, capped at a quarter of an hour.
