A 10 am check-out is the thing to plan around here, and the terminal is about 2 minutes away by our routing. Accor says breakfast is included with some bookings, puts Circular Quay 800 m away on foot, and lists penthouse and multi-bedroom suites.
By our routing the Overseas Passenger Terminal is about 0.7 road miles (1.1 km) and 2 minutes away, and White Bay is 3.0. Accor names the quay, not the terminal or a station — and half a mile is past the line we use for a rail point, so the ride score is zero.
Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out by 10 am, an hour earlier than most hotels on our list. On a sailing morning that matters unless the hotel will hold your bags, and the page doesn't say. It names no restaurant, bar or pool — and doesn't say the suites have kitchens.
I'd book it for space and a possible breakfast — and I'd ask which bookings include it, and whether bags can wait after 10.
Book it if
- You'd use a suite's separate living and dining area.
- Breakfast with some bookings would be a bonus, not a need.
- You're a family who'd use a multi-bedroom suite.
Look elsewhere if
- You'd need a check-out later than 10 am.
- A pool or a bar is on your list. None is named.
- The car park's rate has to be known before you book.
A 10 am check-out and a 2-minute taxi: your night at Sebel Quay West
Accor's wording for the evening, our routing for the 2-minute ride.
Nothing on site is named — plan dinner outside until the hotel says otherwise.
Book a cab, since Accor lists no ride; the terminal is a short hop on our routing.
Some bookings include it, with no price for the rest. Ask which yours is.
Ask whether the hotel will hold your bags from 10 am until your terminal check-in window; the ride itself is short.
Driving? The car park is on site and the rate is a question for the desk.
Sebel Quay West's 30 of 100, and why the ride score stays at zero
Every point traces to Accor's pages; the hub shows the arithmetic.
From Gloucester Street to the ship in about two minutes
The airport is about 8.4 road miles from Gloucester Street on our routing, and the Overseas Passenger Terminal about 0.7, a 2-minute run on clear roads; every ride below is yours to book.
Accor lists no shuttle and gives the airport as 12.4 km away.
No ride is listed, so it's a taxi — about 2 minutes on our routing.
Accor measures to Circular Quay, 800 m (half a mile) and an eight-minute walk, and names the quay, not the terminal. Our road figures are different — 0.7 road miles (1.1 km) to the Overseas Passenger Terminal, 3.0 to White Bay.
From SYD without a hotel shuttle
From Sydney Airport it's about 8.4 road miles, roughly 16 minutes with no traffic, by our routing — settle the fare with the driver first. More on the airport page.
Accor names no station, so there's no rail leg to count.
Driving? See the car-park note below.
Nothing listed here either; the cab is the plan.
Accor's measure is to the quay; the terminal figure is ours.
Landing on sail morning? You can skip Sebel Quay West; the airport page runs the landing check.
Which terminal
OPTThe terminal on your documents sets the distance: 0.7 road miles to the Overseas Passenger Terminal and 3.0 to White Bay Cruise Terminal. They sit on opposite sides of the city centre, and the Sydney cruise guide says which is which.

Guest parking
Parking listed, no rateAccor lists an on-site car park and no rate.
Source: all.accor.comAt the terminals
No parking at the terminal on cruise daysAsk for the car-park rate before you book; Accor prints none. For the cruise, the Port Authority rules out parking at the Overseas Passenger Terminal and keeps White Bay's car park to 15-minute drop-offs, which leaves Wilson's cruise car parks.
The car parks near each terminal are on the parking page.
