Marina Bay’s car park, and what we couldn’t read
Marina Bay Cruise Centre has an on-site car park, with tiered rates that are hard to apply to a cruise-day stay.
HarbourFront publishes an hourly rate. An MRT and shuttle alternative is convenient at Marina Bay.
Here’s what’s confirmed, and what isn’t.
On-site car park
- Online payment and advance reservation at a discounted rate, per MBCCS; call +65 6411 5592 for the booking window and price
- MBCCS's own parking page shows a Parking Rates table, but we couldn't confirm the figures on October 5, 2026; reservations are on +65 6411 5592
- Parking spans roughly 32,000 square metres, per Wikipedia
- Get the price for your dates in writing when you book the advance reservation
Marina South Pier MRT + shuttle
- Marina South Pier MRT station is about 600 metres from MBCCS by Royal Caribbean's driving directions, or about a ten-minute walk on another of its pages
- Bus route 400 also serves the Central Business District
- A convenient option in a city with strong public transit
The HarbourFront terminal: S$2.80 an hour
If you're sailing a smaller-ship or boutique line, you'll likely use the Singapore Cruise Centre at HarbourFront, not MBCCS — and its own parking page publishes an hourly rate.
- The Singapore Cruise Centre at HarbourFront moved in July 2026 to a new building at 5 HarbourFront Avenue (Singapore 099549), opening in phases through the month.
- Its parking page gives S$2.80 per hour or part of an hour, a 15-minute grace period, and hours of 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. It says its lots are limited and urges public transport; it names HarbourFront Tower 1, Keppel Bay Carpark and Keppel Bay Tower as alternatives. We read no capacity figure or reservation process.
- HarbourFront MRT interchange is nearby, making transit a reasonable fallback if parking specifics aren't confirmed in time.
Sources: singaporecruise.com.sg’s parking page, read October 5, 2026, and its coverage of the July 2026 relocation. No daily cap is printed, so a full 24 hours is S$67.20 (about US$50) by our arithmetic. Confirm with the terminal or your cruise line before you travel.
Which of these is you?
| Traveler | Likely best fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Driving to MBCCS and wants certainty | Book the advance carpark reservation directly | Confirms the actual rate for your dates rather than relying on a third-party rate table. |
| Staying in central Singapore pre- or post-cruise | Marina South Pier MRT + shuttle | No car to park, and the new shuttle loop runs from the station to the terminal. |
| Sailing a smaller-ship or boutique line from HarbourFront | Use the terminal's published hourly rate, or take the MRT | The terminal publishes S$2.80 an hour and says its lots are limited, so a long stay adds up and public transport is the better bet. |
Staying the night before? None of the twenty hotels we ranked prints a cruise-parking rate or sells cruise parking, so the car still goes to a terminal lot. Four of them do print a rate for the night itself:
| Hotel | Overnight parking | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|
| Holiday Inn Express Clarke Quay | S$27 (about US$20) a day, per IHG | 39 spaces, with no word on leaving a car through a cruise. |
| Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza | S$18 (about US$14) a day self-parking, per Marriott | Marriott prints a plain dollar sign, which we read as Singapore dollars; valet is S$20 (about US$16) a day. |
| JW Marriott South Beach | $20 a day as Marriott prints it; we read Singapore dollars (about US$16) | In-house guests get one free single-use ticket per room per day. |
| Sofitel Singapore Sentosa | Free on site, subject to availability, per the resort | A stay perk, not cruise parking; the HarbourFront terminal is about 2.3 road miles away by our routing. |

Dollar figures use the European Central Bank reference rates of Oct 5, 2026 (about 78 US cents to the Singapore dollar); your card's rate will differ.

Parking questions, answered
Is there official on-site parking at Marina Bay Cruise Centre?
Yes — MBCCS runs its own on-site car park with online payment and an advance reservation system, at a discounted rate through the terminal's own site. An aggregator lists tiers rather than one flat day rate; MBCCS's own table didn't render for us on October 5, 2026.
What does MBCCS parking actually cost?
MBCCS doesn't print its car-park rates in a form we could read.
A parking directory lists S$0.70 per 15 minutes, S$2.80 for the first hour then S$3.00 (about US$2) per 30 minutes, and S$14.80 for the first three hours, none of it confirmed by MBCCS. Book the advance reservation, which MBCCS says is at a discounted rate, and get the price for your dates in writing, or call +65 6411 5592.
What about parking at the HarbourFront terminal?
S$2.80 per hour or part of an hour, with a 15-minute grace, per the terminal's own parking page, which also says its lots are limited and urges public transport. That is S$67.20 for a full 24 hours by our arithmetic, since no daily cap is printed.
We read no capacity figure or reservation process, so confirm with the terminal or your cruise line, and don't assume MBCCS's setup applies.
Is there a non-driving alternative?
Yes, and for Marina Bay Cruise Centre it's a good one.
Marina South Pier MRT station is about 600 metres from the terminal by Royal Caribbean's driving directions, and a looped shuttle connecting the station to the terminal was added as part of MBCCS's October 2025 upgrade. Bus route 400 also serves the Central Business District from the terminal.
