Seattle runs two cruise terminals about ten minutes apart, and they don’t share a neighborhood or a rental desk.

Find your pier before you find a car. Norwegian and Oceania sail from Pier 66 on the downtown waterfront; Carnival, Celebrity, Holland America, Princess and Royal Caribbean use Pier 91, about 2.6 miles north. The desk that suits one pier is a cab ride from the other.
The port’s Pier 66 page names Norwegian Cruise Line and Oceania Cruises, with weekly Alaska sailings. Its Pier 91 page names Carnival, Celebrity, Cunard, Holland America, Princess and Royal Caribbean; the 2026 schedule also puts Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady at Pier 91.
Cunard and Regent use both piers across the season, per the 2026 schedule; check your own cruise documents for the pier — the documents settle it, not the brand.
Pier 91 to Pier 66 is about 2.6 miles and 9 minutes on our routing — with no traffic, which a sail-day morning rarely has. Book a desk near the wrong pier and you’ve added a cab ride to the busiest morning of the trip.
Five counters sit in the downtown core, uphill from Pier 66 on Alaskan Way. Pier 91’s nearest are Enterprise in Interbay, about 2.6 miles on our routing, and the Avis and Budget pair at KOMO Plaza, about 2.8 — and Interbay closes at 1 PM on weekends.
We found no rental desk at Pier 66 or Pier 91, and none of the brand pages we read runs a shuttle to either pier. Only Sixt’s downtown page even gives directions from Terminal 91.
The port’s 2026 schedule (published Apr 20, 2026, subject to change) runs from Fri Apr 17 (Norwegian Jade, Pier 66) to Sun Oct 11 (Noordam, Pier 91). Reading this after Oct 11? You’re planning for 2027 — and the tax line below changes on Jan 1.
