Each card quotes the company’s own page for hours and returns — the distances are ours.
Where the cars are
Nobody rents cars at the cruise terminal itself, as far as we could find. The closest counters are Avis and Budget in one building at 2 Seaport Lane, about 0.8 miles from Black Falcon Avenue, and Avis there keeps 7 to 7 every day. Everything else is a cab ride, not a walk with luggage.
We found no rental desk at Flynn Cruiseport, and only Enterprise South Boston’s page mentions the port. Its wording is careful — the branch “may offer pick up or return service to or from port”, and it’s closed on Sundays, so call before you count on the ride.
Sixt sits inside the Westin at 425 Summer Street, left of the front desk. Outside office hours its page says to take the garage elevator to the lobby and leave the key at the branch.
Harbor Garage at 270 Atlantic Avenue puts Enterprise, Avis and Budget under one roof near the Aquarium, about 1.6 miles out by our estimate. Enterprise’s after-hours returns go to the 7th floor.
Avis and Budget also share desks at the Back Bay Station garage (100 Clarendon St) and Government Center (1 Center Plaza); Enterprise has desks at the Revere Hotel (200 Stuart St) and in Roxbury and Brookline; Hertz has a Westin Copley desk open 8 to 3:30.
Roxbury’s Enterprise, at 17 Melnea Cass Boulevard, opens 9 to 1 on weekends but takes no after-hours returns — a branch to collect from, not to drop at late.
