TownePlace Suites by Marriott Cape Canaveral Cocoa Beach
Full kitchens, a hotel-run shuttle to the ship and $15-a-night cruise parking, all a few minutes from the terminals. The most complete pre-cruise setup on this list.
Pre-Cruise Hotels · Port Canaveral
Twenty hotels near Port Canaveral, scored on what gets you to the ship, not on reviews. Pick yours, and let the trip start the night before.
Three taps and we’ll show your best three hotels.
Change any answer and the picks change with it. They’re built from the same published facts as the ranking below. Nobody pays to be here.
Matching weighs your answers against each hotel’s published shuttle, parking, breakfast, pool, beach, kitchen and pet policies.
Five answers, and the page builds the whole thing: the hotel, the ride in, the ride to the ship, what happens to the car, what time to leave, and how you get home. Every figure is one the hotel, the port or the company publishes. Where nobody publishes a number, you’ll see that instead of a guess.
Who’s coming and the mood come from Your Match; the plan uses the same answers.
Partner links (transfers, rental cars, luggage storage, lounges) may earn Seabound Journeys a commission at no extra cost to you. They don't change the plan, which is built only from what each company publishes.
All three are in Cape Canaveral, run their own shuttle to the ship, and publish a cruise-parking rate.
Filter by what matters for your night. Save the ones you like, or tick up to three to compare side by side.
Add your sail date and the links open on the night before.

Full kitchens, a hotel-run shuttle to the ship and $15-a-night cruise parking, all a few minutes from the terminals. The most complete pre-cruise setup on this list.
Flat cruise parking with the shuttle for two thrown in, and the cheapest hotel shuttle on the list at $9 a person for anyone extra. You can book the ride days ahead.
The lowest nightly cruise-parking rate among the hotels that run their own shuttle, at $12.84. The catch is that seats go first come, first served.
The only hotel that publishes set shuttle times: 9:30, 11:30 and 12:30. Full kitchens, free breakfast and long-term parking, though the parking rate is a phone call away.
A resort-style night at the port: waterfall pool, restaurant and tiki bar, plus extended parking that includes the shuttle for up to four people.
$12-a-night cruise parking, a kitchen in every suite and a free hot breakfast. You'll need to sort out your own ride to the terminal.
Two Hilton brands at one address, both named for the cruise port. Free breakfast, a poolside bar and kitchens on the Home2 side, but parking runs $25 a night.
Right on the sand in Cocoa Beach, with its own Park & Cruise package that includes a shuttle. The top beachfront pick if you still want the ride handled.
The cheapest cruise parking we found at any hotel, $5 a night, plus a Park and Cruise rate with transfers for two. You trade the beach for the easy I-95 exit.
Beach access, a free hot breakfast and $15-a-night cruise parking. No shuttle, so plan your own ride to the terminals.
North Cocoa Beach, free hot breakfast and a cruise-parking package, with the ride to the port through Go Port. The parking price is a phone call away.
Half a mile from the cruise port by the hotel's own count, with a restaurant on site. Parking looks like $15 a day; confirm it covers your sailing.
A rooftop sky bar with 360-degree views, a free breakfast and extended cruise parking, 1.01 miles from the port. No shuttle and no published parking price.
A budget stop with free breakfast and cruise packages that include the ride to the port. Parking during the cruise isn't spelled out.
Oceanfront suites with full kitchens, a steakhouse on site, and a Go Port package that covers the night, the parking and the shuttle.
Beachfront with two pools, free breakfast and suites with kitchenettes. It doesn't publish anything about cruise parking or a shuttle.
The most fun night on the list for kids: waterslide, lazy river, villas with kitchens. But you can't leave your car here while you cruise.
Oceanfront by the Cocoa Beach Pier with a free breakfast. It's a beach night, not a cruise package.
The Kennedy Space Center pick: free breakfast, and a Go Port package that covers the night, parking and the shuttle. It's the farthest drive on the list.
A lively bar with a 5,600-gallon shark tank and a Starbucks, one block from the ocean. Rides to the port come through partners.
No hotel on the list has all of those. Try dropping one filter.
Booking.com lists airport taxis you can book ahead. Check the pickup point, the price and the cancellation terms before you book.
Booking.com links are affiliate links: Seabound Journeys may earn a commission if you book, at no extra cost to you. It doesn’t change what we recommend. Affiliate disclosure.
Pick how you’re arriving. The board counts what each hotel publishes, the table lights up that column, and the operators below are the ones that actually serve it.
None of the twenty publishes an airport shuttle it runs itself. What they do list is a partner, a package, or nothing at all, and the table shows which.
Orlando International · 36–50 miles from these hotels, by their own counts
Shared shuttle from Orlando International to Port Canaveral and Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach hotels. Port Canaveral names it the port's official ground transportation concessionaire.
Named by TownePlace, SpringHill, Radisson and Four Points
Van priced by party size from Orlando International to the Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach area, then $10 for each extra rider up to 12. It lists Sanford and Melbourne on its booking page without fares. Hotel to the ship is $6 a person.
Named by Courtyard Cocoa Beach
Shared or private rides from all three airports; its service area covers Port Canaveral, Cape Canaveral, Cocoa and Cocoa Beach. The $20 rate is for Orlando International to the port; it doesn't publish a hotel drop-off fare. Reservations are required from Sanford and Melbourne.
Shared shuttle straight to the cruise terminal on sail day. It doesn't drop at Cape Canaveral or Cocoa Beach hotels, so it's for a sail-day landing, not the night before. Melbourne only comes inside its packages.
Named by Homewood, Hampton, Hilton Garden Inn and Holiday Inn Express Cocoa Beach (through packages)

These twenty are ranked for an easy sail morning. If the night itself is the treat, we found the nicest stays near the port, and we’re honest that none of them is true luxury except one inn a longer drive south.
Ten of the top twenty sit in Cape Canaveral itself, and the ones that give a distance put the terminals about a mile away or less. Cocoa Beach trades a longer drive for the ocean.
The mainland and Titusville picks make sense when you're driving down I-95 and want to stop short of the causeway.
Numbers are the ranking. Each pin sits where the hotel is — the bands group them by distance, the way we score it.
Five things decide how easy the night before is — and each one is scored only from what the hotel publishes on its own site or its brand's.
If a hotel doesn't say it, it scores zero there. Its page tells you exactly what we couldn't confirm.
By band: Cape Canaveral 30, North Cocoa Beach 25, Central Cocoa Beach 20, mainland Cocoa 12, Titusville 5.
Hotel-run shuttle with a price 25. Shuttle only inside a package 20. A partner company the hotel points you to 10.
Published cruise-parking rate 20. Offered, price unpublished 14. Through a partner's package 10.
Sail mornings start early. A free breakfast on site scores 10.
On the beach 6, pool 3, food or a bar on site 3, a kitchen in the room 3.
Ties are broken three ways, in order: the lower published cruise-parking rate, then any stated way to the ship, then the closer stated distance. That's why Homewood sits above the Home2 and Hampton building, and why Four Points took the last spot over the La Quinta a few blocks south.
What's left out is deliberate. Room rates change daily, so they aren't scored — and neither are guest-review scores, which measure a stay in general, not a sail morning.
The ranking tells you which hotel makes the morning easiest. Your dates and your budget decide the rest.
Set your cruise length and how many people ride. Every hotel that publishes both numbers is priced out, next to Port Canaveral's own garage at $20 a day.
Parking and shuttle only, at each hotel’s published rate before tax, round trip. Hotel parking counts your hotel night plus every cruise night; the port garage counts arrival and departure day, which is how the port prices it. Room rates aren’t included. They change daily, so we don’t publish them. Where a hotel runs no shuttle, the total reads “+ ride”. “Lowest” only goes to a price that already includes the ride.
For the port's own garages, lots and off-site options, see Port Canaveral parking, compared.
We checked 34 hotels. These came closest to the top twenty, with their scores and the reason each fell short.
| Hotel | Score | Why it missed |
|---|---|---|
| La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Cocoa Beach-Port Canaveral | 36 | Tied with Four Points on points. The tiebreak went to Four Points for having any stated way to the port; this one has free breakfast and free parking but nothing about cruise parking or a shuttle. |
| Westgate Cocoa Beach Resort | 35 | Two-bedroom beachfront suites with kitchens, but the resort says it doesn't offer transportation to the port, and it charges a resort fee. |
| The Resort on Cocoa Beach | 35 | Every unit is a two-bedroom oceanfront condo with no resort fee, but it says it provides no shuttle and publishes no cruise parking. |
| Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront | 32 | Full-service and on the sand, with a mandatory destination charge, self-parking at $25 a day, and no cruise program on the pages we read. |
| Hilton Garden Inn Cocoa Beach Oceanfront | 32 | Oceanfront, 5 miles from the cruise terminal by its own count, with paid breakfast and no cruise parking or shuttle stated. |
| Holiday Inn Titusville - Kennedy Space Center | 31 | Go Port sells a park-and-cruise package here too; the hotel lists the terminals 25 miles away. |
Most of these hotels are 42 to 46 miles from Orlando International. If you land late, one option saves the drive entirely. The Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport sits inside MCO's main terminal, and Go Port's cruise shuttle counter is in the same building.
If you’d rather wake up by the ship, the Getting There table shows which hotels list a ride from each airport, and at what price.
Tours, tickets and things to do are on Booking.com. Book the day before, not sail day.

On our scoring it's TownePlace Suites by Marriott Cape Canaveral Cocoa Beach. It publishes everything that makes a pre-cruise night easy: a hotel-run shuttle ($12 a person each way), cruise parking ($15 a night), free hot breakfast and a full kitchen in every suite. Country Inn & Suites and SpringHill Suites are close behind; Country Inn's flat parking even includes the shuttle for two.
As of September 24, 2026, these hotels publish a hotel-run shuttle with a price: TownePlace Suites ($12 a person each way); Country Inn & Suites ($9 a person each way); SpringHill Suites ($10.80 a person each way); Residence Inn ($12 a person each way); Radisson Resort at the Port ($10 a person each way). Courtyard Cocoa Beach, Holiday Inn Express Cocoa and Days Inn Cocoa Beach include a shuttle with their cruise packages.
At many of them, yes. Published cruise-parking rates run from $5 a night (Holiday Inn Express Cocoa) to $25 a night (Home2 & Hampton Cruise Port), and Country Inn charges a flat $65 or $99 by length. Holiday Inn Club Vacations is the exception: it doesn't allow parking for the length of a cruise. Always confirm with the hotel when you book.
We couldn't confirm any of the twenty running its own airport shuttle. From Orlando International, these list a partner ride with a price: TownePlace Suites ($28 one way, Cocoa Beach Express); SpringHill Suites ($28 one way, Cocoa Beach Express); Residence Inn ($120 one way, Cape Canaveral Transportation); Radisson Resort at the Port ($28 pp one way, Cocoa Beach Express); Courtyard Cocoa Beach ($45 one way, Cocoa Beach Shuttle); Fairfield Titusville ($100 one way, All Services Limousines); Four Points Cocoa Beach ($28 one way, Transportation partners). Homewood Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites Cruise Port, Holiday Inn Express Cocoa Beach, Hilton Garden Inn Cape Canaveral and Ocean Landings Resort sell the ride through Go Port's Fly Snooze Cruise package, with a private car from the airport. Cocoa Beach Express also serves Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach hotels from MCO from $28 a person, whether or not your hotel names it.
Usually, on parking alone. Port Canaveral's own garages charge $20 a day plus tax, counting both arrival and departure day. Most hotels that publish a rate charge $12 to $15 a night, and Holiday Inn Express Cocoa charges $5. Add the shuttle fare for everyone riding and the gap narrows, so run your own numbers in the calculator above.
Hotel rates near the port move every day and spike on busy sailing days. Any number we printed would be wrong by the time you read it. We rank on what doesn't change daily, like shuttles, parking policies and breakfast, and leave the live rate to the booking site for your exact date.
